Treasure Tracker takes concept of Captain Toad and runs with it. It’s a smart, cute puzzle game that presents some great locales and really rewards you for taking the time to unpack them. Captain Toad Treasure Tracker proves that you can still be Awesome without being Mario.

This game is so creative and just pure fun. Even my wife who doesn't play video games really got into it and played through the entire thing. The bite-size levels allow you to pick up and play the game for however long you'd like. The level designs are creative and the difficulty is just right - not too difficult for less experienced players, but still some challenges for more advanced players. Toad is just adorable and playing through this game is great fun.

This is a great puzzle game that anyone can pick up and play. It makes good use of the Wii U gamepad and the levels themselves are fun and challenging. Plus, with the game being $20 bucks cheaper than most new releases, it would be a crime to not get this game.

This is a cute and fun game. Not too difficult, but also made you think a little if you want to try to collect everything in the levels. It is a little short though, especially if you don't try to collect everything. Luckily, the price is lower. However, do keep that in mind since some people may not get their money's worth.

Capt Toad Treasure Tracker features more of the levels introduced in Super Mario 3D World where you play as Capt Toad looking for treasure in diorama-style levels.
This game is fantastic. Although inspired by Super Mario Brothers, Treasure Tracker is more of a puzzle game than a platformer. Instead of jumping up and around obstacles, you explore levels and run around enemies while looking for gems and heading for the exit.
Some of the levels can be tricky as you try to find all the gems and complete the optional objective in each stage.
I highly recommend this game for any Wii U owner, especially fans of Mario 3D World.

This isn't a typical "puzzle" game. This is a full release of the mini levels that were present in Super Mario 3D World. The level designs are great and the gameplay is fantastic as well. I was hoping to use my newly acquired Wii U Pro Controller with this game, but due to some game mechanics requiring the touch screen on the Wii U Gamepad, you are stuck playing with the gamepad. All in all, it is a fun game.

The camera can take a little getting used to but the game is fantastic. Expands on the Toad levels in Super Mario 3D World in a big way.

I enjoy this game. I don't go for much violence or epic quests in my games. I like puzzles and familiar characters. This satisfies my brain and my sense of fun. I have spent up to 45 minutes to complete a level, so it's not a piece of cake, and there are small challenges that one can try to accomplish while trying to clear the level. This 39-year-old mostly-non-gamer really likes this game.

This game takes the clever little palate-cleanser diorama levels from Super Mario 3D World and creates a full experience out of them. The team takes their stellar level design from that previous game and really pushes the whimsical aesthetic to the next degree. This is a wonderful game to play with friends, loved ones and children. Highly recommended for all Wii U owners!

This game is wonderful. It can entertain young & old and minimum to highly-skilled players. Levels are short but numerous; they can be passed fairly easily which makes the game great for my pre-teens however there are incentives for meeting certain requirements (i.e. not being seen by a shy guy in a level). The game is fun, colorful, and upbeat. It's a win in my book!

This game is a lot of fun! The idea is simple: collect various items (get all the coins to get level bonuses) and get to the goal to complete a level. For younger players, mastering the ability to change the camera angle to best navigate may be challenging. Once you have the hang of it, it subsequent levels still provide a challenge. A good game for many ages!

Captain Toad is surprising in every way. It not only looks great but the puzzles are fantastic. They not only compliment toad's slower pace and non-jumping ability but work around it giving you that mario world that we love so much. The game is a must have with so many levels, each better than the previous. You won't be dissapointed, go get it!!!

Captain Toad is a great game for all age groups. It is simple and fun while also having some deeper challenges for completionists. All of the 70+ levels are unique and creative even though they are small in size. This is a fairly short game that can be completed fairly quickly, but the bite size levels allowed me to play for short periods at a time and make the game last.

Captain Toad Treasures Tracker is a spin off of a mini game found in Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U. It's not really a full game, but at around 15-20 hours (depending on how much of a completionist you are), I think it's priced accordingly.
For the most part, it's a brilliantly executed game that knows what it wants to do, and is charming in its delivery. It controls well, and though most levels are not hardest, finding all the items and completing the hidden objectives offer enough incentive to replay levels if you're into that sort of thing.
There are some minor annoyances, however. Using the gamepad for off-TV play is great, until you have to use the touchpad to perform certain actions, as the graphical overlay obstructs your view of whatever situation you're in. Additionally, your AI buddies in a certain section of the game have horrible follow paths, meaning you have to do some funny things with movement to make sure they all get on the same platform before it goes, otherwise they're sure to fall to their death, meaning you have to start the puzzle over.
Still, it's a fun game, that gets a lot of mileage out of the initial ideas set forth in Super Mario 3D World, with levels and collectibles that gradually increase in difficulty.

No updates, no loading, no long opening cutscene. No dialog no revenge no fluff. Toadette is taken and Toad must go through puzzles and collect Diamonds and Stars. Spin the camera to see hidden level designs and guide Toad to the Stars. Fantastic puzzler at at great price.

This is an excellent game for kids who can handle basic navigation puzzle games. The difficulty increases as you advance and an adult might have to intervene and assist. You get extra bonus levels if you have mario U. Great game, smooth gameplay. I recommend it.

This game takes the excellent Captain Toad levels from Super Mario 3D World and builds on them. There are lots of good puzzles to solve and tons of charm. The graphics look amazing as well. If you own a Wii U, this game is a must.

The level design is pretty clever and easy to pick up and play with little time commitment, making this a great game for those short on time. Replay value is pretty good if you try to get all of the stars on each level.

I have been a fan of Captain Toad since Super Mario 3D World for Wii U. When I heard that Toad would get his own spin off, I knew I had to jump on the band wagon. The controls fees more refined, level design is well thought-out, and the progression of the game is great. These are great upgrades the Nintendo team has done for Captain Toad. And this kind of design is unique to the puzzle genre. My 6-year old nephew found me playing this game and he enjoyed it so much that I bought a second copy for him this past Christmas. Although single player, this is a great game to pass around the controller while playing with friends to get the brain juices going! We have competitions like who can complete the level the fastest or with less panel moves, etc. Great game overall!
