Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Quick Grip DSLR Camera Hand Strap for its ease of use, security, and grip. Many appreciate the quality and lightweight design, making it suitable for extended use. However, some customers have concerns about the fit, especially for larger hands or specific camera models. Additionally, a few users find the neck strap and padding to be less than ideal.

Bought because I found myself carrying my camera a lot on my hand and winding the neck strap around my hand. Build quality is good and price is right.

I've always been a fan of Case Logic products and this camera strap did not disappoint. It worked great as I walked around the Grand Palace and several other temples taking pictures in Bangkok, Thailand.

This strap is a fine tool and recommended for cameras WITHOUT battery grips. If you use a battery grip, you might be disappointed.

It is very nice to use because DSL Cameras can be heavy at times. At least with this strap you can hold on to the camera better. And have a better grip on it.

It was easy to set up, and I used in conjunction with the regular over the neck style strap. It is very nice to have 2 options of securing my DSLR Camera.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this handle. I haven't tried using it hanging from a cliff but in average conditions, it seems to do the job.

Like many, removed my "stock" neck strap for my camera. It was just too stiff and I hated the Nikon advertisement all over it. I seldom actually wore the camera around my neck either. The vast majority of time I keep the camera in my hand. And as such, the strap was always falling in the way of either the lens or my viewfinder. I eliminated this a bit by holding the strap against the side of the camera. But that was just still a bother. Also the strap was always getting caught on things when I set it down or went to pick it up. The weather is getting warmer, so I wanted to correct my "issues" and make my shooting more comfortable and suited to my style and needs. And with this in mind I went online and "researched" my options. A good shoulder strap would be wonderful, but would not eliminate the "snagging on everything issue" I have with longer straps. For certain shoots, it would be ideal though. And I will probably get one at some point. What I settled with is just your standard hand strap. So where to get it? I looked online and both Walmart and BestBuy had what I thought I wanted, but you could not tell if they had it ONLY online or at the store. What the heck I said, and headed into town (both locations were close to each other there). Note that I didn't want to spend a lot either. Money is tight and this isn't a "make it or break it" issue for me shooting. I hit Walmart first and they had NO hand straps at all. I then went to BestBuy and they had only two in the store. REALLY? That was pathetic, and I told the store employee that. They had a shoulder strap with full slide from Case Logic (for about $25, which is a great price, as long as you are not stupid with the strap and expect it to be "superman" strength), but again, that was not what I was looking for at this time. And they had a Case Logic Quick Grip. THAT is what I was looking for. And that was at $21. For its size and all, I thought the price was a bit over-priced, but "it was there" and I didn't have to either wait for it or pay shipping. So I got it. I put it on and used it yesterday with no real issues. The build quality is nice, and the construction is not sloppy in any way. The materials are also very nice. For the money I am not really that disappointed and it works fine. Now the downsides..... I think the hand padding part (the goes over the back of your hand) is too narrow. It is nicely padded and I have no real issues with it besides that. It just could be a lot wider. The other issue is the bottom swivel point. This strap does not have a base plate. It simply screws into the tripod mount. It is very secure and the screw and swivel are VERY nice. But being that it does not have a plate, the actual swivel point is "odd". If you let go of the camera and just have it hanging from your hand, the camera will drop/dip at an odd angle. It does not stay parallel with your hand. This gives you a very uneasy feeling and loss of control of the camera. It will still prevent the camera from falling, but it just feels odd. And the hand straps with base plate eliminate that. They move the attachment point of the actual STRAP to the outer edge. I pinned the strap I have at that point (with my finger) and wallah..... the camera stays nicely in parallel with my hand when I let the camera go. My final opinion? It works. But I will be getting another strap (with base plate) when I can. This one will do fine and is an improvement over the neck strap for me, but for about the same price, I could have gotten a strap with base plate (ok, might have had to pay shipping, but IMO it would be worth it). So if you really NEED the strap (RIGHT NOW), the one I got will do you just fine. If you can wait just a bit (for shipping) make sure the strap comes with a base plate that moves the strap attachment point to the outer edge for hand straps. You will thank yourself later. So why did I give it 4 stars and yet not recommend it.... well, you just read my review. If they had a "maybe" I would have chosen that. But I was only allowed a yes or no.

Best Buy employee recommended this item to me for a trip that I would be taking to Europe. I really enjoyed not having a big camera strap around my neck during the trip. Camera and hand strap fit nicely into camera bag. This is a great hand strap for smaller DSLR's and point-and-shoot cameras. Check it out!

I have never had a problem when using this product, it's just that I rarely use this product. I thought I'd use it often but I can't even remember the last time I put it on my camera. I like to shoot at night mostly which requires a tripod for longer exposures. I use a quick release plate to go handheld. And unless it's me, there's no way to keep the quick release plate on the camera and attach the strap. I can understand that since a hand strap on a tripod mounted camera is pointless. I like to go handheld until I feel the tripod is necessary, so it takes a while detaching it then putting the quick release platell on. So if you're in the middle of shooting you probably just missed some good shots. I can recommend this for someone who wants a hand strap. It just turns out hand straps aren't for me.

The hand strap is comfortable. I wanted the choice to have both a neck strap and hand strap attached at the same time. I was able to attach one to the other so it works this way, but now it's a one size fits all and not adjustable. It fits myself and my family fine so there was no other issue.
