Extender for our TV that was too large to fit in the cabinet space. We mounted the unit against the side wall of the cabinet and then added the TV. The TV is now flush to the outside frame of the cabinet. The unit is heavy duty and holds our TV stable. It is not a flimsy mount but rather very sturdy.

    Upper end Mounting System

I wanted a centrally mounted single TV downstairs that could be viewed dead on straight from any of 180 degrees worth of angles and this mount could deliver that on my 47" LG TV. I did not just bolt this mount on the wall, I made a bracket holding system in free space attached to the upper beam and lower staircase rail 4" off any surface, that is what allowed a full 180 degrees with this size screen. Just bolting it on the wall will give you 180 degrees with a 42" TV and less as the TV gets larger. The Arm is Beefy, you can literally hang from it like a monkey. If you want a bracket that you can make rotate 90 degrees from center in either direction and the security that your TV will not take a dive even in earthquake regions , you have found it.
