When I saw this movie in a theater last year, I enjoyed it very much. I like Ewan McGregor, and he was very good as the grown-up Christopher Robin who is so busy with his job that he's not enjoying his life and his family. The voice actors who portrayed Pooh, Eeyore, and the others did a fine job, especially for those of us who remember the Winnie the Pooh cartoons. I bought the Blu-ray rather than the DVD because it had some extra features that I knew I'd like about the making of the movie. With a movie like this that combines live actors with animated stuffed animals, it's interesting to find out how things were done so effectively. This is a sweet and fun movie. It reminded me a little of those other Disney films about Mary Poppins, who also straightens out fathers who need to lighten up and pay more attention to their children.

Quick Disclaimer - If you're a German Shiza Enthusiast this isn't the film for you. This Pooh is a lovable bear from my childhood that really tugged on the old heart strings. I originally bought this for a coworkers daughter because of her love for Tigger. My coworker said she had it on repeat for weeks so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. My wife and I broke out the honey and hopped on the couch and by the end we were in tears. This one just hits you in the chest in a way much different than the films from the disclaimer I mentioned earlier. It's a great film with a great message but boy prepare yourself for some waterworks and turkey jerks. Visually they knocked it out of the park. Pooh has never looked so good. Kids will love the characters and adults will enjoy the nostalgia ride. I give it 5 Heffalumps and 3.5 Woozles.

I was apprehensive about this movie before seeing it because Pooh and friends looked so odd. As a kid, I never really got that most of them were stuffed animals, so seeing them depicted as such so realistically took some getting used to. But honestly, it didn't take all that long to get 100% on board with it. Almost instantly after hearing Pooh's voice, I was hit with the strongest childhood nostalgia. I'm pretty sure my brother and I enjoyed this movie way more than any of the kids in the theater. We've made it a new tradition to watch this every year. It's such a wonderful film. Almost made me cry :)

Christopher Robin takes viewers to the realm of a grown up gentleman facing all the challenges of life. This is a man who has all but forgotten the fanciful imaginary friends of his youth until they return to remind him about what is important in life - his own daughter and wife. A cute story with pertinence to all of us who get caught up in the machinations of our world and sometimes lose track of what really matters.

In all honesty, I didn't want to spend the $30 or so dollars to see this movie in the theaters. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my wife, and we watched it on New Year's Eve, and I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. The CGI team that created the characters did a MARVELOUS job in bringing these classic characters to life. The story was pretty cute, and was pretty well acted by the "real" characters, especially the interaction with the occupants of the 100 Acre Woods.

The movie is everything I wanted it to be. I LOVE Winnie the Pooh and it hit all the nostalgic notes I wanted without feeling old or unnecessary. Pooh and his friends are just as loveable and adorable as ever. Ewan as Christopher Robin was a great fit. The whole story covered the emotional spectrum, cute, sad, heartwarming. It became one of my favorite movies half way through the movie.

The film is endearing and nostalgic to be sure, even if it leaves the audience wanting more, specifically more Pooh & company. While the film is about a grown Christopher Robin, it is about him realizing what is most important. Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and the rest of his childhood characters had helped him know that when he was a child, so I think it would have been nice to see more of these characters while Christopher Robin was on this journey. Nonetheless, the film, story, plot, and talent delivery were satisfactory and is a must-watch for all Pooh fans.

Another “what happens when we grow up”. Very cleverly done with no loss of respect for the original characters. Pooh was exactly who I would expect Pooh to be. Although “animated”, I had trouble convincing fellow viewers that it wasn’t “guys in suits” for the animal actors. You leave with hope never to lose our childhood joy of pretend and play.

For anyone who grew up loving Winnie the Pooh this is a must-see movie. I rented it and had to own it. I only buy movies that I am willing to watch over and over again. The integration of the animated 1000 Acre characters with real-life actors was brilliantly portrayed. I fell in love with Pooh all over again!! And I'm 66 years old.

This is a great camera to get if you have a teen. If you are like my girls and I we love to see our pictures right away. It's a good way to share photos as well. You can also get purse carriers for them. My girls really like the different colors they come in as well. It's a really great way for your kids to Express themselves.

I was disappointed that none of the songs I associate with Pooh and Christopher Robin were used in this movie. It is a live-action feature that takes up when Christopher is an adult with kids who were his age when he spent time with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, and the other denizens of the woods. All of the imaginary creatures are animated within the story, pretty believably. Christopher is beset with adult issues and has forgotten the value of friends - until he relearns it. Along the way he also relearns the value of family.

Watching this movie was like looking into my own childhood. Felt good to return to that fantasy world from the perspective of Christopher Robin. Pooh and his friends played a wonderful supporting role to the life of Christopher Robin. Reminded me of some of the trials and pleasant memories of my childhood.

Christopher Robin is the perfect blend of playful, uplifting one-liners and nostalgia. The film skillfully combines the youthful exuberance of an adventurous heart with the daunting responsibilities of adulthood. A great reminder to always put family first and to never let fear override your playful, pure heart.

It Was A Great Movie From Beginning To End. It Starts Out With Christopher Robin Saying Goodbye To All His Childhood Friends. Then It Goes To Christopher Robin All Grown Up With A Job & Family, But He Seems Lost Somehow. So Winnie & His Pals Try To Help Him Out Just Like He's Done For Them Many Times Before.

My family and I really enjoyed this film. My wife spoke about Winne the Pooh and all his pals to the kids. They didn’t like the original cartoon, but have watched this movie several times over. Really great bonding time! Don’t forget the snacks. This is a must buy from Best Buy!

Great story line about Christopher Robin as an adult on trying to laugh again with help from his childhood fun pals as they come to life. The interaction between them is hilarious. Ewan McGregor was fantastic in his role. The bonus extras offered are a bonus enjoyment to watch

This movie is a lot of fun for children and adults. If you watched Winnie the Pooh movies as a child or with your children I believe you will enjoy this movie. It reminds me of the grown up Peter Pan movie, "Hook" as it tells the rest of the story in a very entertaining way.

I liked the movie, but my husband did not - I think he thought it was too much for a child. I thought it was a fun movie and so glad to see a man come to understand the importance of spending time with his family. Good to see movies with no bad words or nudity.

This is a fun movie to watch and surprising how one can come up with such story with Christopher Robin. My daughter used to love Christopher more than any other character in the hundred acre wood, and this is a good movie to trace all things back.

Any movie starring Ewan McGregor is a hit. Playing the role of Christopher Robin was beautiful and heart warming. The use of real people and CGI was incredibly seamless in this film. Wow things have come far! A must-have in any Disney collection.
