Can not seem to sync with phone

I really don't know how to rate this because I can't seem to get it to work with my phone. The day it was installed I went back and we thought we had everything in sync but it doesn't seem to be working. I can't seen any footage. If there is a change I will update my rating.

Dash cam works great. Recommend that you have Best Buy install it for best operation, and get the larger SD card to hold more videos. Only issue is getting the phone app to work correctly.

Returned product sold without refurbishing

I am not sure if this is this particular item or the product as such is bad. When I purchased the package was tampered, i thought it was the pickup that damaged it. But after installation at Mooresville store, when I checked the gallery, it had video of 2023. It showed the same installer in a vide from a date from 1 year ago, So I guess Bestbuy sold me an used product for the price of a new one. Not sure what is happening here. If we find that bestbuy is selling returned product without proper notification then I will take severe action. The reason for this review is, the product is not recording both ends. It is only recording rear view. Every time i have to format the SD card and once it will record the front view and later only rear end. When I met with a traffic incident this camera did not have the front recording. This is cheating. Looks like either bestbuy sold a returned product or the product as such has a very bad software. Not recommended.

It is possible that a different SD card was tested for installation purposes and it may be helpful to check with your installer. Camera was installed but did not work as described with Drive smarter app I could not even download the video on my phone after many attempts and troubleshooting decided to take it back to Best Buy and purchase the Cobra 400 4K instead

Not working from the box.

The dashcam constantly shuts on and off while driving, with no rhyme or reason. I have ample experience with dashcams and various car electronics and have gone through the process of elimination and the fault lies within the camera. I have attempted to use the provided power adapter with no success. I purchased a hardwiring kit and attempted various fuses with the same results. I have a OBDII system, and there are no DTC codes within the car and no electrical malfunctions with the car.
I plan on initiating the warranty exchange and will update the review later. I am disappointed with the exchange process as the website states I am responsible for shipping despite the product being faulty right out of the box.

The device itself is good but has nothing to do with the company. Best Buy did not make the device so I can only comment on customer service regarding the purchase and installation of the device when applicable. The customer service regarding this device has been the worst customer service that I have ever experienced
I bought 2 of these devices because the first was cancelled by the company Eve though it was set up with a install appointment but employee made a mistake when setting it up in the computer so the company has allowed me to be treated with the worst possible customer service experience and I have not been refunded after almost two months. There is a number of customer service problems involving the purchase of this product
