Customers are saying

Customers find value in the Carbide Series SPEC-DELTA RGB case's attractive aesthetics, robust build quality, and ample space for components and cable management. Many appreciate the included RGB fans and the case's ease of use during PC building. However, some users express concerns regarding the case's airflow and its potentially limited compatibility with larger graphics cards. The size of the case is also a point of contention for some customers.

    STEAR CLEAR! Poor Airflow/customer service

Very poor airflow. Out of the front three fans, the only one that actually pulls in air is the bottom, the middle gets absolutely no airflow, and the top get very minimal but basically none from the very small vent at the top of the front panel. Also the three RGB fans that come with the case are random model Corsair fans that they just started to sell only on their website and don’t actually have a model name because they don’t really sell them. They CANNOT be controlled through the Corsair app at all. That means the speed and RGB CANT be controlled through iCUE or through a Corsair RGB node or a Corsair fan controller, if you want to change the RGB. You have to disconnect the joining adapter and run each to a 12v RGB header slot on your mother and then control them from the motherboard app. GOOD LUCK!! I’ve tried it over 5 times with the ASUS armory crate/Aura and with RGB uniformity controlling apps like OpenRGB and others with nothing but more issues than I began with. Corsair wants you to buy better fans from them, if you read reviews/questions on their own site, one of their customer service reps literally tells someone if they want to control the RGB lights then they need to buy better fans. The fans highest speed is 1300rpm when the average of their other fans run up 2300+rpm. I reached out to them as my brand new PC build with a i7 11700 and a rtx 3070 is running way too hott for a PC that is 100% brand new and I’ve also added a Corsair h100i elite water cooler and 1 92mm fan. They eluded my simple straight forward question if there was another compatible front panel for the chassis or if one was same dimensions and I would modify it to fit myself. Which after dodging it in 2 responses then asking me my specs because it shouldn’t be hott, I told him everything in it and their response was, I’m sorry but there are no other front panel options, possibly try one of our high airflow cases. So they honestly expect me to just chuck this $100+ case that has airflow issues and cheap fans that need to be upgraded right out the box and just buy another one of their cases?!?!? I hate to say it as I have Corsair everything, keyboards, mice, headphones, Ram sticks, fans, AIO water coolers, and cases, after having incredibly poor experiences with their customer service every single time I’ve had to inquire some info, never once angry or looking for a refund or replacement. Their company philosophy seems to be to just expect you to take the loss and throw money at their products and hopefully the next one will be better. STEAR CLEAR! Too many other great companies with lower prices to choose from.

The case has a horrible airflow. Even though there are 3 intake fans, there's just a small triangular intake vent which means the top and middle fans are pretty much useless. Just removing the front panel reduces the CPU temperature by 15-20 degrees. When contacted Corsair support, they said these exact words "Unfortunately, the SPEC-Delta front panel does suffer from airflow restriction due to the design. The design of the case was intentional as it focused more on aesthetics than performance. You can remedy this by removing the front panel as you have done already or by converting the case to a 220T (they share the same chassis)." which is ridiculous!

Thought this would be a cool case for a build. While it may look cool, the front panel feels cheap and is made from inexpensive plastic. Next to no airflow coming from the three front fans since they're covered by said plastic. Fans aren't even ARGB so they only display one color. You are much better off getting a Corsair RGB 220T for about the same price

      Hi sroh,

Thank you for your feedback. The SPEC-DELTA RGB's front panel has a ventilation cut-out at the bottom of it, allowing the fans to intake fresh air. The pre-installed front fans are ARGB and are designed to be connected to an ARGB header on your motherboard, which then allows for RGB control via your motherboard's software. You may find guidance on fan setup here: (https://youtu.be/aY4hrbrdDlg) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us - we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

the case did not fit my GPU. this is quite odd considering the GPU was only a 2 series RTX and that’s pretty standard. baffled at what kind of GPU this would even be able to fit. HORRIBLE CASE. didn’t get a refund either.

This case advertisement was misleading in my opinion. Bought this case thinking that it comes with RGB fans. But when I installed my motherboard and other components, I found out that these RGB fans require special type of motherboard with ARGB header on them only from Asus, MSI and Gigabyte brands. My motherboard does not have such headers. Tried looking everywhere for some type of adapters to make things work but was totally unsuccessful. Corsair also sell RGB LED Fan hub, LED Node Core, and RGB Commander Pro. None of them worked either. They all require different type of 4-pin connectors. These fans have different types of connectors to hook them directly onto the motherboard. I can't return this case anymore, otherwise I would have bought another one which is iCue compatible. Totally unhappy with this purchase.

Wow, this thing is horrible. Airflow is bad because of the panel that doesn't even give air to the middle fan. Minimal airflow to the top and fair for the bottom one. The fans aren't even iCUE usable. Kind of like Corsair just made it out of scraps. For some reason, the cables came in the front... which made this even more hard to make it have decent cable management. The exhaust fan that is on the back doesn't even have any RGB. Just use the extra 100 dollars for the 4000x and an exhaust fan. I really got played in thinking this was a good value. The 4000x has 3 fans that come with it and this one has 4 with it but I would still rather get the 4000x. Nothing was cable managed in the back and I had to wait 6 days for this. CRAZY. The front doesn't even have a nice design and they didn't give a good picture of it either. Barely any space in it either. I simply don't understand how a CPU can run 80 c while the other case dropped it to 50 c. I really don't understand. RGB only goes from 1 color to another too with no controller either. The glass is super easy to smudge and hard to clean. I really love Corsair, but I truly feel like this just isn't it. The way it makes me think that this was an afterthought for Corsair.

      Hi,

Sorry to hear about your experience. This case includes an ARGB adapter for the fans - so you may connect them to an ARGB header on your motherboard and customize the lighting via your motherboard's lighting software.
