I got this as a replacement for my CORSAIR - VOID Wireless Gaming Headset - Carbon after the batteries started dying out after a year of heavy usage. Comparing between the two I find that the HS70 had way better battery life but doesn't match to comfort and the range of the VOID. The detachable mic is great for the many times a day you are not going to use it at all.
My biggest gripe with this set of headphones is the fact that the padding for the ears comes off really easy and less than three months into owning the left pad came off followed by the other one about two months later. There is no way to put the pads back in properly without some form of disassembly and no online instructions on how to fix the issue.
The pads don't give that much depth that the VOID has for its padding and makes using the HS70 painful to use for long periods of times when compared to the VOID. Also, the VOID's pads can be detached and washed which can't be done with the HS70 making heavy use of these headphones sort of more problematic.
The audio quality for the mic is good for wireless headphones but then again, most wireless headphones will not compare to a dedicated mic when it comes to sound quality.
I would only recommend these headphones to light end users if the cost was around $60. If you use headphones a lot for your daily living, pass this set over for something like the VOID.

I've waited to post this review until I felt like I owned the headset for a long enough time to give it a proper review. I've had the headset for just over a year with regular use. Sound quality is decent, but not great.
-They will get quite loud, so if that is something you require, these have you covered! The mic quality is so so, not terrible, but I would say "serviceable" is probably accurate.
-Battery life is quite good. I regularly get more hours of battery life than I can comfortably wear them. Next point, short sessions are good, long sessions are less so. I think they are a bit heavy and perhaps that is what wears on me with longer sessions.
-Build quality for this price point is fantastic. They seem to be fairly durable. I'm not particularly hard on my equipment, but these still feel tight and near new to me even after quite a bit of use.
-I wish they were a bit lighter in weight than they are.
-The mic quality could definitely be improved.
-Excellent value at the price point.

These headphones feel really premium for the price! Great sounding for shooting games as you can hear footsteps pretty well. Great on the ear feeling but i could probably get away with gaming for at least 5 hours or so cause these are pretty heavy. The other thing i don’t like is they don’t tell you when the battery is low. Other than that, great headphones and i aint mad at all.

I have used a number of wireless headsets over the years as the quality of each brand evolved--from when Corsair was a cheap, but beginner's gamer's product all the way up until the name Corsair imparted an innate knowledge that your item would be legendary, and would create a character with unlimited support (within reason). This headset is the ultimate gamer's item--it's cheap compared to any given solution from anybody else; it works super super super well, fully decked out this thing is nasty af, but it's also not going to cost you a whole week's pay. 100 dollars is extremely budget friendly for a wireless headset.
That said, the EQ is a BIT lacking--not much, just a touch. Trying to get things to work takes a good deal of fiddling, and while there is a sweet spot for most people, hitting it could be tough if you are working with only one or two friends as your sample size.
That said, this does NOT work with your phone--the need for a USB dongle is the only downside that I've found for the game (I doubted we'd have friends all the time thjroughout our game history, both individual and shared), but I found myself desperately hoping that we could vape together at every chance--and my ex was cordial enough with these headphones I had no complaints about working with her when necessary to be able to use them with my favorite titles.
Still, the freedom to connect directly via Bluetooth would be extremely nice--I'm just happy they make something so large, comfortable, stylish and effective in the sub-100 dollar headset range.

Been using these headphones for coming on 2 weeks now. I bought them because I'm moving to a place where I no longer had access to a normal desk setup for PC gaming, so I needed a headset that I could wear on my couch.
Pros: - fantastic sound quality
- comfortable
- good spatial awareness for gaming (virtual surround
sound is great)
- battery life is adequate for the amount of volume being
put out.
Cons: - can't hear my girlfriend when she's talking to me, tend to
have thing's thrown at me to get my attention.

First, I am not a paid reviewer and have no affiliation with Corsair (although by any means, Corsair...find me on twitter ;) So understand that this review has no bias whilst reviewing the product. Which is a fair position I believe to be at, generally.
[SOUND QUALITY = Mic is superior]
I'm just going to say it, I believe this headset is one of the best headset you can get for under $100...provided you can survive the lack of RBG colour spectrum splashed somewhere on it. The sound delivered from this device is crisp, it seems full and is able to provide a bass that's not exhaustingly deep, but definitely provides feedback. Whether you're listening to another Joe Rogan Podcast, or providing cover for your squad, You'll be able to listen comfortably. Although...sadly...the sound dynamics are configured in Stereo leaving something to be desired in terms of a basic 7.1 at this point. Especially if you're comparing it to something like the Razer Nari Essential. Which while we're on the subject of comparison, the main reason I ended up swapping from my Razer to the Corsair HS70 SE version specifically, the microphone. The mic quality without any external vocal EQ's sound fantastic, I unfortunately wasn't able to record samples from both mics, but IMO the Corsair Mic is superior.
[BUILD QUALITY = Metal mostly, where it matters at least]
So the quality, is right around something you can feel comfortable with kind of tossing onto a chair or something and not being too worried about it falling onto the ground, and stepping on it. Heck, given it's 15 hour battery life, I would say you could probably sleep with it on. The headpiece itself is cushioned, and at the end of both sides is a quality polymer mix bracket, that connects the metal arms supporting the sound drivers. The exterior of the ear piece has a metal mesh, with a corsair logo splatted in the center and in the Interior you'll find ear cushions built with long term use in mind (but practice healthy habits!) constructed with memory foam that's wrapped in potentially a pleather fabric? ** note, inside of the ear cushions there are notches that allow for extruded lobes to sit comfortably** It's also extremely light, so I find it hard to become "fatigued" while wearing this headset. Even if you do need to get up, thankfully its wireless receiver has a 40ft range. So you shouldn't need to take a break from whatever audio you have going.
[YOUR WALLET WILL FORGIVE YOU]
There are so many options, and I mean...so many options...if you're just looking for a gaming headset. This honestly feels like more than just a gaming headset. It's a headset that you can have Google Meetup meetings with, given it's fantastic mic and crisp audio quality. Then afterwards log into Call of Duty Cold War and experience cinematic audio scenes and talk about Tiger King clearly with your mates. When comparing others headsets it really came down to the mic quality, and overall build. The Sound could be 7.1, also not offering Corsairs RGBSync onto the headset could be a bummer for some, but that battery life is fantastic, range is 40ft which I believe is good enough in a standard situation. It's a strong contender for it's price range.

I was in the market for an affordable gaming headset, I tried the hyper x cloud flights but they were uncomfortable for long sessions so I tried these which were considerable cheaper and were for my use case, the reason I enjoy these is the comfort and sound quality, the leather ear cups have great support and a very soft feel, a premium feel, battery life good to great, just shy of amazing, and the user interface is simple, you have a power button, a mute button, and a volume rocker, it’s so simple but it works for what I need and more, the detachable mic is handy for when I watch videos on my laptop I don’t have to deal with a mic in my face, and finally the sound... the sound is great not crazy bass heavy sounds come through crystal clear without distortion and can be accurately determined when playing a competitive game and or watching a movie

Sturdy build and it sounds great. I have compared these to the Razer Nari Ultimates and Steelseries Arctis 7 Pros.
Sound wise, this blows them both out of the water. The drivers have a much richer sound and a better sound stage. All of the levels are really clear to listen to. The microphone is also leagues better than the Razer Nari and is on par with the Steelseries.
Range and battery wise, I've never had a problem with them losing their charge even on 12 hr gaming sessions and throughout an 8hr work day where I do Mortgage Consultation for a living. The range is a good 30 - 40 feet depending on how many walls are between you and the PC. It's not as good as the more expensive Steelseries, but it's way better than the Razer Nari's 15 feet (from my experience with 2 of them) and I'm able to be downstairs flipping pancakes while staying on Discord. If only it sent the smell of food through the mic!
Software wise, a lot of people have good experience with iCUE. I personally do not and I dread that program. It lags like crazy and is incredibly buggy for me. I downloaded it just to turn off the Mic sidetone for my preference and also turn off the Dolby 7.1 since Surround Sound in headphones really only distributes power (especially poorly in wireless mode) into a "surround like" fashion. Pro tip, do not use THX or Dolby or ANY 7.1 software "enhancer" with wireless headphones, it just doesn't work.
Lastly would be comfort. This is my only itch with these headphones. Even though they last for 12 hrs, I cannot bear to wear them for more than 2 hours in a row. The earcups are fine and the headband are fine. They have great materials as well. The problem lies in the clamping force of the headset and Corsair could've done way better. My head isn't large by any means and I also have a few other friends that complain about how hard it clamps. If you have a bigger head, I would spend the extra dollar and get the Steelseries.
Ultimately, these headphones have great audio quality and usability for their price point and are easy to recommend. They aren't too comfortable though so I would just recommend people who are picky about that to stay away. I did go with the Steelseries in the end because I found those on clearance, but overall these headphones are great. 4/5.

Sounds good and is comfortable for me, a glasses wearer. Was pretty uncomfortable at first but ii improved after wearing it a few times. Range is nice, I can go a couple rooms over and still hear audio clearly (though people I talk to can’t hear me, it seems). Microphone is the lowest point. I haven’t compared it for myself but I upgraded from a cheap Logitech headset and everyone I’ve talked to either says it sounds the same or worse. They don’t say it’s “bad,” however. Besides that, the comfort and the audio (compared to what I’ve used in the past, being cheap headphones) are great, wireless is nice, battery is serviceable, and the mic is acceptable. Worth it for the price I paid ($70).

The sound quality is good and clear. The mic does not pick up background noise and my friends say they can hear me clear as day. My gaming sessions normally range from 4 to 8 hours at a time. The headset stays comfortable in that time and I only have to charge the headset every other play session. That said, you can charge the headset with a micro USB cable while you are using it. Note for that tho, you may hear a soft static white noise when the volume is low while waring and charging it at the same time. But if you are doing anything with some kind of sound you won't notice. O totally recommend this headset to anyone wanting something to use for PC. I even bought a 2nd one to give to my sister.

I bought these to replace my Logitech gaming headset which was a little buggy and the cords were prone to wear. These are great wireless, but the range could be better. No issues in the same room, but running to the next one causes them to cut out or temporarily disconnect. There were also some issues with the iCue software and my Logitech software for the keyboard, but those were resolved in an update. Overall I like them better than what I've used before.

Good battery life. The sound quality is pretty good and it has profiles to adjust it. You can charge it while listening. There wireless range is fair but not as good as some bluetooth headsets and if you do get to far away and it drops it is quick to reconnect Best use case is for gaming which is why it has its own dongle. There's no lag that I have noticed in game.

The build is solid and comfortable. A lot of conveniences built into the side of the headset, such as a mute button, volume control, and a detachable mic. The sound and mic quality is good, not amazing, but works for my needs (for Mac you have to download iCUE, doesn't work properly out-of-the-box). The battery life is adequate for a full day.
The problem and the reason the review isn't as good as it can be is that the connection seems to drop frequently. All inputs and outputs stop, so I can't hear any sound and no one can hear me speak. It happens once every other hour, sometimes even every hour. Once I unplug and plug in the USB transmitter, then it goes back to working just fine. I'm wondering if it's an issue with macs since no one else seems to be having the issue.
So when the headset works, it works well. But the intermittent connection issues really make me wish I got a wired headset instead.

I am an avid gamer and have had several high end headsets all were corded and this was my first wireless headset and I couldn't be happier no more tangled mess, no delay with the wirless and my friends say my mic sou do just as good. Comfort wise they fit me nice. The only slight downside is they feel warm on my ears simmilar to earmuffs. My previous pair didn't ever feel that way.

To be honest fits comfortably, sounds great and amazing. This thing has zero, like nothing latency between the sounds and fun fights. Can hear enemies at exactly which location they will be coming from. If your new to wireless and 7.1 surround sound, well these are hands down the best on the market. And as well, it states 14 hours of game play, more like 20 hours of battery life.

First impression, the materials are thick and well pieced together. The stitching is neat and clean. The part that rests on top of your head is thick and soft. The headset as a whole is a little heavy after wearing for awhile, but still very comfortable. The earphones are soft, thick and the sound is very good. They cancel other sounds while wearing them and gaming.

A. were wireless/bluetooth
B. I could use for PC and PS4
C. Held a good charge
D. sounded great
E. were comfortable to wear for extended sessions
These headphones have checked all the boxes for me. I looked at a bunch of models by a number of brands and am so glad I landed on this one. Corsair is fast becoming one of my favorite brands for accessories.
