The only thing I liked is the mic tbh.
Its very very heavy.
The earpads feel awful, like the bottom of a dry eraser.
The microphone is hard to adjust.
No chat mix for such a high price.
High clamping pressure.
Useless RGB that will just waste battery and only really to show off the brand logo.
The software to manage EQ is 1GB? Really?
The sound has missing highs, even the online frequency charts show this.
I personally hated this one.
So far my #1 has been the artcis 7 from steelseries.
Sorry to hear about your experience. You may adjust the RGB lighting to help conserve battery life via our iCUE software. The HS80 RGB WIRELESS also includes a Dolby Atmos for Headphones license - please download Dolby Access from the Windows store. From there, you'll have multiple preset profiles to choose from, or create an EQ profile that tailors to your ears. If you have any questions, please reach out - we'd appreciate the opportunity to assist: help.corsair.com

An improvement over the Voids!

Have only used them for a few days, but I like much more than the voids! They are lighter, seem to connect to the PC faster when turning on (voids had like a 20 second turn on period), they dampen the external sound a bit better and the mic mutes when you tilt it up.

Fantastic headset with solid build quality. Mic quality and clarity is perfect. I exclusively use this headset for my ps5. The sound clarity is great for a wireless headset as well. For its price point you really can’t go wrong.

The microphone is so clear it is crazy for a wireless headset. Out of the box the headphones could be better but EQs fix that. Wish there was a little more noise cancellation but I am still really impressed with the headphone

Corsair makes excellent products, and this is one of them. I also have a void pro and I bought this one to use as either personal or work headset depending on which I like more for gaming. I ended up choosing this one for gaming over the void pro and I'm happy with the choice.
Despite being an excellent headset Corsair has some serious software issues with icue that could turn some buyers away from the product. Just know that if you have issues with their software you are not alone, it's consistent. But I overlook this for the great product once I get everything working.
Only lowering ease of use due to software not the headset itself. The icue software is easy to use, but has other issues that can sometimes cause it not to work properly.

The headphones are exactly what I thought they would be. Strong quality build, and the mic is super clear. The pricing was fair compared to other vendors too!

Easy to install but uses 2 USB ports. 1 for charging cable and 1 for the transmitter unit. Very comfortable, the microphone up and down mute and talk feature is nice.

Fantastic headset super clear audio and the mic works great. Most headsets the mic stops working after a few times setting it to mute but this one holds up great. Worth every Penny in my opinion

This headset has been the best i have bought so far and the sound quality is perfect. The microphone is good quality and overall its the best wireless headset on the market in my opinion.

I have bought far more expensive wireless headphones and these beat every single one of them. Only con is the battery life but everything else makes up for it.

Poor range, random static, obnoxious voice prompts

This is not a very good headset.
Usually, the audio quality is fine/tolerable, but sometimes it sounds quite bad, losing a lot of detail while being marred by what sounds like quite heavy static interference. There's no environmental factor that I've been able to trace to this problem, it just seems to come and go.
Another problem is that the wireless range is marketed at 60 feet, but for me it doesn't work past 10 feet (with one section of drywall in between).
Also, by default, the device has loud, obnoxious audio prompts ("mic off, mic feedback off!") that happen when you turn on the device, or move back into the device's anemic operable range. These prompts can be disabled using the garbage Corsair iCUE software, but the setting seem to get reverted at random.
I purchased these to replace my Steelseries Arctis 7 headset which with a worn/broken USB port. I was very satisfied with my old headset, but didn't want to wait days for a replacement set to arrive, so I took a chance on these. That was a mistake.
The Arctis 7 specifies a range of 40 feet, which in my experience was roughly accurate, even through walls; I could use them to listen to stuff on my PC while doing the dishes in the next room, which unfortunately isn't an option with the HS80. The audio quality on the old headset was also notably better than the HS80 can manage even when it's not doing the static thing, and I don't consider myself to have a particularly refined sense of hearing.
I recommend that you avoid these unless you can get them for, like, $50 or less and you think you can tolerate the issues I describe above.
Seems like the headset is somehow not working entirely correctly at this time, please do reach out to our team right on our site for further assistance.
