Good but could be better

Not for people who like sidetone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The ear cushions are cloth, and very comfortable, but you lose some of the low-end in the sound due to lack of seal. The mic is fantastic. BUT - at the time of writing (July 1st, 2022) the volume and sidetone are both integrated into Windows system volume - they grouped 3 things into a single audio channel. In the corsair software, sidetone is already pretty quiet at 100%, so if you put the main volume at a reasonable level, you basically eliminate sidetone.

Sound is great, everything else is bad.

Cons: - Battery life SUCKS. Expect 3 hours of use per charge and the charging port is at a strange angle at is uncomfortable when wearing and charging. - Head size range is very small. - Ear cup swivel range is very limited. - Soft fabric wrapping on the pads has begun to come off after 5 months of use. - Overall construction is fine, but swivel has become seriously loose even with very careful usage. - Too expensive to justify the price for a poor design.

The connection is never stable and the mic and audio cuts out every 5-10 seconds for a second.

Sorry to hear about your experience. It would be recommended to connect the USB dongle to a USB port directly on your system that has direct line of sight of your HS80. I would also suggest making sure the HS80 and its USB dongle has the latest firmware via our iCUE software. Affordable and comfortable

The clarity of the sound, the comfort from the strap embedded in the headset and the microphone make this purchase a no brainer

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These headphones are great mainly for the fact it is wireless, the only downsides are I have no idea if I can bend the mic closer or further from my mouth as it is holds it shape well, only able to fold it up or down. My biggest issue with these headphones is even with the strap on the headphones at max slack I get headaches after long gaming sessions lasting more then 20 minutes, ive gotten to the point where I use a piece of foam to cushion my head to prevent getting headaches. Overall my experience with these headphones are good, I'm still gonna use them to replace my still usable corsair void headset.

It has good sounds and an awsome microphone. I also like the wirless feature which makes it way better compared to other gaming headsets.
