This headset is very comfortable, looks great, sounds great, but the battery life is horrid. I'm going to be returning these tomorrow. I'll be ordering the Arctis 7 headset.

This is really only about the headband function. If you have a slightly larger head this will not fit. You can make it fit but it won't be comfortable. Just a heads up.

Treated me well for the two years I owned them, but few weeks after the warranty runs out the charging port snaps off, and the earphones break. Weird timing! Probably built to break like this.

This is a very nice headset,most give me headaches but this headset has perfect tension.the only think it sometimes dislike is that it cancels noise too well.

Great sound but has a poor design mine cracked where the earcup meets the headband.

This is the worst headset I’ve ever bought. The sound quality is okay when it works properly but the key word is when. The headset will randomly drop in sound quality and everything becomes distorted and staticky. I would only recommend this product if you were getting it for free. I would love to return this product but now I’m stuck with it. This is the last Corsair product for me.

Honestly, I wanted to like this. But I really could not get a comfortable fit. Also, the mic was sooooo quiet!

Not worth the price at all! Sound quality is great but the headband cracked and the rgb does not work.

When this headset works it's great but it will cut in and out and still dunno why it is doing it but it is frustrating.

beware of this headset it stays on when you try and charge it. After a couple of months of purchase the headset will not charge at all. When plugging in the charger it came with it doesn't charge it just turns on and off. WORSE PURCHASE EVER

In the box is the headset, charging cord - USB-A to USB-C, wireless USB transmitter and an instruction manual (Quick Start Guide). First impression, after opening the box, I immediately noticed the ear cups. This is the first time that I have had this type of material, which feels like a wool cloth. I definitely love this because after long wear, they still feel soft and comfortable. The cups completely cover your ears and mold around my ears perfectly. When placed correctly, the headset can be worn for hours and you do not even feel them. After charging, I played a PC game for over 5 hours and I barely skipped a beat. Please note, it may take a few minutes to adjust right out of the box but the headset will be very comfortable and when properly placed, you won’t notice that the headset is there. Connectivity - This is something that is important to me because I have so many Bluetooth headphones and I constantly have to pair, unpair, change settings. After charging, I plugged in the wireless USB transmitter, there was a message at the bottom of my PC that the headphones were connected and that was it. Also, I would like to note that normally when I switch gaming headsets, I have to adjust the settings in my game but I am so happy to say that I didn’t have to go to the settings at all! There is also the option of making the headset wired by plugging in the charge cord. Just make sure you power off the headset before plugging in. Sound - The sound quality is great. I didn’t have to do much adjusting and there is a software that you can download for even more features. The software is called iCue and you are able to change the equalizer settings, adjust the microphone, update the product firmware and adjust the headset lights. I LOVE the microphone, pull down to talk, put up to mute. Simple as that. Another great thing, red for mute, white for speak. I also love the wheel on the back to adjust the volume. I normally play some games with family members and they stated that they could hear me clearly. I was extremely happy when the chat feature actually worked without me having to make sound adjustments. Battery Life - The battery life for the Bluetooth is a little uncertain at the moment because I charged them out of the box and I have been using them for a couple days and the indicator light is still green. All in all I give the headset a 5 out of 5. I am unable to find anything negatives to the headphones at this time. I highly recommend this product and definitely to my gaming friends and family.

Got these while they were on sale. Quality and overall sound is MID. Too much audio at low quality. The band above the head is too intrusive and puts pressure when the design doesn't allow tightening. Think of it as its balancing on your head.

little to no battery life bought not long ago and will be returning usb bluetooth system when the headset will hold charge long enough is unstable and mic randomly mutes and makes an almost constant beeping noise because its always on the verge of dying

2 month later and the adhesive already started coming off the earphone cups.

This headset does not work very well with Discord as every time I lock my computer and unlock it, audio from Discord would stop going to my headset until I reset the audio on Discord. A couple of months after this purchase the mic started working up and would not work repeatedly after pulling up and down the microphone. Not worth the money, would not recommend.

Would not recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade from the HS70. Decided to try these since they were discounted and I had a warranty on my HS70. Biggest mistake I’ve made. I have had nothing but issues with the headset; battery life, not turning on, and now charging issues after 2 months of ownership. Will be swapping these out for the HS70 counterpart.

Stay away from these for the price. Sound isn't as it should be and the reviews saying the sounds cut in and out is exactly right. I have trusted Corsair with everything I have for years but after this headset i will be switching to Razer. Do yourself a favor and avoid these.

At $117 on sale these are a steal, it boasts the latest and greatest lag-free Slipstream Wireless tech, high fidelity audio, and Dolby Atmos. The microphone is outstanding and the new design lets you wear them for ages without fatigue. The Corsair HS80 are good for wireless or direct gaming. They have good range and have very comfortable ear cups, they fit, with well-padded ear cups and an adjustable ski-band headband. Their wireless USB dongle provides a fairly low latency wireless connection with PCs. They are compatible with PlayStation consoles. The boom mic does a great job of making your voice sound clear and full, even in moderately noisy settings. It's not detachable, but easy to mute and unmute by flipping up or down. They have a warm default sound profile, you can customize it with a graphic EQ and presets in the app. The app also has settings for mic volume and side tone. According to tech specs, The HS80 uses 50mm drivers that output 24-bit/48kHz audio over Slipstream wireless and a higher fidelity 24-bit/96kHz over a USB Type-C cable. This means that the HS80's sound fantastic with rich, full-body sound with well-balanced bass. It's the spatial audio where the HS80 shines, with impressive 3D audio and accurate positioning. Summary: A great set of headphones for long gaming sessions. They sound wonderful, look cool without being too flashy and are highly functional. Unboxing: Inside the unit you will find the headphones, the RF dongle, a braided USB-A to USB-C cable and basic documentation. Setup: On a Windows 11 PC, setup is a breeze, simply plug in the RF dongle and turn on your headset and you are ready to go. I highly recommend you download the Corsair iCUE software as that will be the place you will download firmware updates, change lighting colors and more. Use: I really like the comfort. The ear cups are soft and breathe easily. I really like the boom mic. When stowed in the up or down position, the light indicator on it changes color and also announces “mic on” or “mic off”. So no more talking baby talk to my kid and finding out I accidentally left the mic on for me! Pairing is instant with the RF dongle and with USB, drivers install quickly. Audio quality: Great! I mainly tested for gaming but booms were mighty, quiet sounds were clear enough to hear, overall a great dynamic range. Playing Forza Horizon 5, the engines sound amazing while the music is still easy to hear. On that note, music sounds great. Mainly listening to electronic, rock and alternative, much was punchy and clear at all ranges. With the comfortable ear cups, I wouldn’t mind listening to music on these all day if the mic boom was removable. Battery: In the review time I have had with these, I have been unable to drain these even with gaming sessions lasting from dinner to 2 am. As such, I am very confident that battery life will last for most people. If you happen to run low, simply plug in the long USB-C cable and you are gtg.

was really good at first but after the first month it started to glitch and the led lights were not working and the next day the microphone stopped working and i took good care of it now i have to go out and buy another headset.
