Had these for about a week before returning them. The setup is super easy and the software is also easy to use.Mic quality and comfort are amazing, but the sound quality just wasn’t there even after constant EQ tweaking.

I got this headset thinking that it would be a nice change from my previous headset, which is great. However, what I found was that there were far more things that I disliked about it than liked. The first thing I noticed putting it on was the cushion strap. It was initially set far too tight. It uses Velcro for adjustment. It took me 20 minutes to get it to where it was moderately comfortable. I don't like that it feels like it is constantly pulling up on the ear cups. My previous headset has simple bars with markings and you just slide them up and down to what fits you. Simple, and with the marks you can be precise. This headset is purely a guessing game. Some people love this "floating" straps, it's just not for me.
Setup was simple. (I'm using it on a PS5). You just plug the Bluetooth dongle into an open port on the PS5 and it's connected. After reading into it, yes, this headset works with the PS5, but it's really made for PC. You need a PC to change any settings on it. This is everything from the sound balance to the RGB colors on the logos that are on each ear cup. If you don't, they're just white. Which isn't a huge deal since you can't see them when you're wearing them anyway, but something to note. Previous headsets that I've owned have their own apps where you can change settings on the fly. In this day and age, I shouldn't have to stop, disconnect from the PS5 and hook them to a computer and change settings.
Another issue I have is that the light on the mic is incredibly bright. It's very distracting. It's red when it's up (muted) and you can't see it. When you pull it down to use it, the light turns white to let you know that it is on and unmuted. However, you then have this flashlight shining right in your eyes just a few inches from your face. Because of that, I can't use the mic. You may be able to dim it or turn it off in the settings when you connect it to a PC, but I'm not sure.
My next issue started after about 10 minutes of usage. I started a game of Battlefield 1. I've been playing it for years and know all of the sounds very well. I know what each gun sounds like. I know what explosions sound like. This headset didn't reproduce the sounds properly. Everything was muted, even after turning the volume way up. The gunshots didn't have the "pop" and the explosions didn't even sound like explosions. From my previous headset, it's like having a bomb go off versus a firecracker. It's that far off. Then the sound started going in and out. Every few seconds the sound would just drop out completely. In a game where I use sound to know where the enemy are, which directions the gunshots or footsteps are coming from, this was horrendous. Every other headset that I've used for years have also been Bluetooth and haven't had any interference issues, so if that is what it is with this headset, then they are substandard. Granted, my previous headset (that I've gone back to) is about double the price of these, but if they can't perform the most basic function of consistently producing sound, then they're not worth the box they come in. For me, these are going in the pile of unused headsets.

My first day experience wasn’t that great…
I connected with my ps5 and played / listened to music for about 2 hours. But while I was playing my games and listening to the music the audio cut off a bit. It cut of often like every 2~5 minutes or so.
It just cut of for a second but because of that I couldn’t really immerse into what I was using
You may want to reposition the wireless dongle on the the PS5 so that you can get better range, moving from the back vs the front of the system. If you're still experiencing issues after this, please feel free to reach out to our support team so we can assist you further: support.corsair.com

Nice headset, bad quality control

A great sounding headset in all but I've been only getting defective units. The first one that I bought had a faulty mic so I took it back to the store for an exchange. Lo and behold the new one that I got wouldn't even charge. I shouldn't be having to deal with this for a $150 headset

Online reviews had me excited about this product but after using the product for a few weeks, I can say I am underwhelmed. For the price, it's somewhat fair. The headset doesn't adjust for head size which is a big bummer.

Battery Life is Bad

I liked the build quality and the mic was completely fine for me. My issue is that the headset only lives for about 5 hours on a single charge. I have multiple 2.5+ hour gaming sessions and am going to switch to a turtle beach wireless headset instead. Bummer since I like the design of this one, but ultimately the battery is a deal breaker. Turtle beach says theirs lasts 40+ hours on a single charge. Guess I’ll find out for myself.
Thank you for your feedback. Have you updated your headset's firmware to the latest version available via iCUE? It will provide the latest battery optimization. You may also adjust the headset's RGB lighting to prolong battery life. If you have any questions, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

great headset, only reason not 5 stars is because it loses connection easily when you walk away from your computer.

Stopped working after using about 6 months. Tried a lot of methods to fix it, iCue says its connected, shows battery and equalizer but there is no sound from it at all. It works only through Bluetooth but only in discord. No sound from any video or game at all.
I have another model of corsair headphones and it was worse too. Frequent disconnections until i threw it away in garbage and this is exactly where this one is going too.
Corsair maybe wanna stick to just making casings and leave the headphones to the companies who actually know how to make them right.

Charging Port is prone to breaking

The charging port has broken on me twice since having this headset, granted it has lasted me about 3 years, the first time the charging port broke was within the 3 months, I sent it in for fixing got it back and now a few years later it's broken again, needless to say I will be looking for a different headset brand
