I've tried mechanical keyboards, I owned 2 Corsair mechanical keyboards, they were fine. One was nominally defective and decided to return, and the 2nd I decided was great but more than I needed and above what I wanted to originally intend to spend. But the K55 RGB Pro, wow! I am pleasantly surprised that this keyboard, especially not being mechanical feels as good as it does. Honestly, I don't really miss the mechanical keyboards. This does the trick, and for the price I think it delivers. The keyboard lighting is zoned, so if you're really into customizing I'd say go with another keyboard. Works great with iCUE software, and for my needs and gameplay and considering the price as mentioned prior, it's nearly perfect.

The Corsair K55 keyboard was recommended to me by a friend who works from home. What sold me on this was the mechanical feel to the keys without the loudness. Would recommend if you like the clicky key press of older keyboards.
Also the customizable lights are a nice feature as well.

So far, this keyboard is working phenomenally! The keys feel super fluid, the lighting display on the unit is a great addition and makes for working in the dark very easy on the eyes, and the keys themselves don't make a loud "clicking" sound when you're typing. They have an easy glide about them if that makes sense.

Absolutely great looking keyboard, controllable with the Corsair lighting program, and has a great height, and the wrist of while not padded is actually fantastic for relieving stress on the wrists. Also incredibly well built, easy to clean, all around fantastic product. Corsair always holds it down with quality.

I used this keyboard for years and even recommended/bought one for 2 other people. The keys are very quiet while still having that mechanical feeling. Corsairs software is great, in my opinion the best in the industry especially for creating macros. Over time the membrane for the switches may start to wear out and that is the only reason I replaced my keyboard, I had to hammer on some of the keys. This is the only complaint I would have.

Build quality os solid, and the keys feel good without feeling too mushy for a membrane keyboard. RGB zones work great and its just a nice keyboard. Not much else needs to be said. if you don't have the budget for a mechanical gaming keyboard, this will be an amazing bargain for you. I used it for work as my main keyboard for years (non pro) and now bought another one for my employee. We write emails all day and the key spacing is perfect and the keys are responsive with plenty of feedback.

I purchased this keyboard as a gift for my 8 year old grandson. He loves the look and ease of use. It appears to be sturdy, which of course is important when it's being heavily used by an 8-year-old! Plus it was one of the most economic keyboards of its type.

Comfortable keyboard. Looks nice, good RGB. The reason i didnt give it 5 stars: gloss at the top of the keyboards gets dusty very fast, having to wipe it daily. The function key in the bottom left corner placement is not great. I click it all the time thibning its ctrl (for copy and paste functions). I tried to keybind it to by a ctrl, but no luck. Otherwise its quiet, responsive, and very nice looking.

This is solidly one of the best keyboards I've gotten in years! It's not a mechanical keyboard, so the noise and feel is a bit different but it has performed excellently for me! iCue compatibility made it fit into my Corsair build so easily!

The most comfortable keyboard I ever owned. It’s one of the cheapest and the best on the market. I had 100$ keyboard that was worse. I’m glad with my purchase. It’s silent and has crazy color customization. It’s only comfortable for your hand to rest. Even has side buttons you can assign them to anything you want with just 2 clicks

What an amazing and entertaining keyboard. My son loves the different colors that display, whilst he selects key options for his everyday use, especially in video games. I highly recommend for aesthetic and quality purposes.

I would like to say that this is one of the best keyboards I have had. Last year I have bought at least 7 different keyboards and this one is the last one I have bought. The keys are nice and smooth! It types nicely. I love the RBG.

solid keyboard.. icue software works alright, but seems when you update the programmable keys get reset. Minor inconvenience for me as I only have the macros for calculator used. Colors are ok but wish it had more patterns like heartbeat etc. Wrist rest is hard and not what I expected, the ability to remove it is nice thoa. Padding would have been better but would have cost more, and encroached into the higher tiers I suppose.

I bought this as a cheap backlit keyboard for my gaming laptop, I needed the dedicated macro keys to use for hunting pokemon on a fan made game. (it makes the character walk back and forth for me. ) Great keyboard for the price.
PROS:
Amazing features for the price!
Backlit keys
Good travel and palpable keystrokes
Wrist rest
Cons:
The software is a little wonky and hard to get use to, but once you learn it its fine.
The keys are backlit but only in zones not per key, this is not really a con seeing on how this is less than $50 you cant expect to get these features at this price point.
Overall for the price you would be hard pressed to find a better keyboard, I have a razer cynosa chroma(similar price) on my back up gaming rig and this keyboard is much better and included the dedicated macro keys. Great beginner gaming keyboard, but if you are looking for a long lasting keyboard I would suggest looking into the higher end lines of keyboards, from corsair or others with cherry switches or similar.
For example I use a Razer Blackwidow Chroma on my main rig and have used it for about 4 years, gaming at least 8+ hours a week at a minimum and its still functions great with no noticeable key wear. Has per key RGB and if a switch were to ever die I can replace it. But sometimes you dont need, all of these features or just dont have the money to spend and thats where these budget boards come in!

Very well made keyboard. Does not have that cheap feel that other keyboards have. Very responsive keys and just quality built. Corsair in my opion makes the best computer components you can buy. If you want the best. Buy Corsair period.
