Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the K55 Wired Gaming Membrane Keyboard's RGB backlighting, build quality, key feel, price, and ease of use, with many praising its comfortable wrist rest. The keyboard's responsive keys and pleasant typing experience are frequently highlighted. However, customers are negative about the included software, citing issues with glitches and difficulty in use. Overall, the positive feedback on the keyboard's core features outweighs the concerns about the software.

Great lighting & funcions + 6 programmable keys

The backlighting of the keys is very useful (and it can be turned off if not needed). There are plenty of additional special function keys for computer and audio/video control. Plus, six additional keys can be easily programmed with multiple keystrokes (macros). It's wired, so keystrokes cannot be captured by optical eavesdroppers. It comes with an optional wrist rest. The only downside is that some of the complex special characters (like @, %, and &) on the top row number keys are difficult to distinguish from one another.

It works great and is quiet. The lighting is cool and can be easily turned off. There is a lock to disable your windows key which helps from accidentally minimizing your full screen gaming

This was a gift for my wife because her cheap RGB keyboard decided to crap out. She loves it and the extra programmable keys on the left side. The RGB lights make no difference to her but at the price I was able to buy this for was cheaper than buying a plain keyboard. I would recommend this if you're looking for a cheaper and functional gaming keyboard.

I purchases this gaming keyboard for my son's birthday. He has loved it. It has worked very well despite his, sometimes, over zealous pounding on the keys. The back lit key look cool.

Best price for a wired gamer from a US-based company. I hooked it up to my new 10900K system and was able to use it immediately to slay some warships and warplanes. I also have the K57 wireless version on my 3900X system, which is why I bought this one. Perhaps EVGA will catch up, but for now, this is my first choice for a keyboard based on overall value.

This is my second CORSAIR keyboard. I tried wireless but I think having a wired connection is definitely more responsive (at least it feels that way). And I most definitely love the feel of a mechanical keyboard. I also love the backlit RGB lighting that is customizable to just about anything. It's a nice add-on to anyone's gaming PC.

Before I got this keyboard, I had a dinky cheap mechanical one I got for free. This one unfortunately isn't mechanical (I enjoy hearing the tapping sounds), but I've gotten used to it. It's much more durable than my previous keyboard, and you can change the keyboard's colors to a lot of different options with fn+ #1-0 (bless RBG options). The keyboard is very affordable, and so far, it's been worth my money.

Great keyboard but had some major software issues

Loved the keyboard, but the software was very glitchy. I would have to unplug it, then plug it back in for the keyboard to function, and sometimes during use, it would disconnect again. The keyboard is very nice. Love the clickiness of the keys, and the multimedia buttons. Would give a 5 star if there were no software issues. Returned it hoping for an exchange, bht they were sold out

I am not a mechanical, loud click type of person so this keyboard fits the bill. There is a little bit of noise but it doesn't sound like a typewriter. If you don't know what a typewriter is kids, Google it. When typing on it, you don't have to press too hard on the keys and if you're a decent typist, you won't have issues using this keyboard. Even if you aren't a decent typist, you'll still do well with this keyboard. I actually own two of these and this second purchase was for my home desktop. I already use this keyboard for my work laptop that is docked so I knew what to expect. The back lighting is sufficient and it's nice that it has three different levels of brightness. You can also have different colors like the picture shows but I prefer one color because I'm plain like that. I like the large backspace key because I make lots of mistakes while typing. The only thing I wish was that the ENTER key was bigger. Sometimes, I hit the \ key instead which is right above it. Overall, I think this is a decent keyboard for a decent price.

I like being able to choose the colors on the keyboard and the keys are comfortable to use. They do not stick or make it a task to do what you do best! Only recommendation is to have better instructions on how to get solid colors or what not for the backlight keys. I had to play around with it for a while before figuring it out.

Great priced backlit keyboard. I don't use the macro buttons myself as I only use it for gaming a few hours a month but I do like the dedicated media keys. For some reason it's hard to find a nice keyboard with keys that aren't flimsy or way over priced. The wrist rest is nice as well. It's basically a perfect replacement for my old keyboard, except now it glows! I've had this keyboard for a few weeks now and I haven't noticed any fading of the key lettering. I do like the old school feel and functionality of this keyboard for daily use, over the cheap units you get now days.

The RGB keyboard is great when playing games! It's not a mechanical keyboard but this keyboard is not a joke. The RGB on the keyboard has presets so you can change the colors of the keyboard zone and offers a nice trying experience with little key travel.

No, this is not the best keyboard with all the bells and whistles and included cup holder. However, it is definitely a solid buy in terms of bang for your buck. The keyboard itself has a good feel and the lights are of course a bonus. This is my first keyboard and I’m sure I will buy something similar when the time comes to upgrade.

This keyboard is great for gaming. It has an aesthetic and sleek design. The keyboard itself is not too bulky, and it has a rubber/plastic attatchement you can put on the keyboard, to rest your wrist on. The lighting on the keyboard is beautiful, and is perfect for gamers who play in the dark. There is barely any sound when you tap the keys. Great keyboard for the price.

Helpful when gaming in a dark room. Lights have 9 different programable options. BUT. having the G keys on the left cause some problems with players hand postitions.

I need to see the keyboard at times w/o turning on a desk lamp. I'm happy I found this keyboard with back lighting. The price was terrific, partly because it is wired to my computer (I only use it at my desktop anyway - although Best Buy had other wireless models). There are about 10 different really cool color schemes which can easily be turned on or off.

Great value, reliable keyboard. I first bought one, then bought two more for other computers. They do make some noise as you type, which doesn't work well for phone/video conference if you cannot mute your mic. I haven't set up the macros, but it has a lot of flexibility there. I also enjoy the lights.
