I was always set on upgrading my ram from 4GB, which my macbook pro (15 inch Early-2011) originally brought, to 16 GB. After confirming that it could work on my macbook I bought it. Admittedly I was a little skeptical because I read some reviews out their that people had received bad ram chips or whatever the technically correct term is. I took a chance I had to call best buy in order to use the price match guarantee. First time I ever used it by the way. It was around 94 dollars on Amazon so I called them and told them they lowered the price from 134 to 94 and I was able to upgrade on shipping, which came out to be around $105. As soon as it arrived I installed it. Opened up my about mac option and it says 16GB, I'm still amazed. It makes all the difference go for it. Ever since I upgraded the fan that turns on to cool down the computer hasn't turned on once. Safari used to bounce up down a lot before I upgraded afterwards maximum it bounces like 3 times, but if close it and open it a second time it will open so quick you can't even blink otherwise you'll think safari opened by you just thinking it it takes less than a second! at least for me. Anyway enough rambling if you're thinking about upgrading with this I say do it take a risk and call best buy for the price match guarantee. I initially thought about going with new egg or amazon but I trust best buy more even though it may be a little irrational at the end of the day its the same product but still best buy in my mind is better.

The memory upgrade is the best thing you can do to your computer. I upgraded my 2011 Mac mini to more than the recommended 8gig to 16 gig. Now it's faster and doesn't get hung up. Install was easy.

We ended this to our 2011 I might work perfectly installation was easy and I'm very happy with how my Mac is performing.

It was easy to install and worked on the first boot. There has been a noticeable increase in performance.

Ordered two of these to increase my mid-2010 27" iMac to 32gb and noticed an immediate speed boost as it allowed me to use several of my higher memory-usage apps at the same time (Lightroom, Photoshop, Firefox, etc).

I may have expected more from this device than it was capable of delivering. I wear hearing aids and thought these would be excellent for watching TV, using iPhone or listening to a NASCAR race working around the house. As it turned out, even with a full charge these headphones couldn't generate sufficient amplitude or adequate frequency response to justify the expense. Will stay with the wired Apple iPhone ear buds for now. Disappointed!

Recently bought a macmini and upgrade IT to 16gb of RAM with this kit. Works like a charm, even though Apple says Max mem on macmini is 8gb

After it arrived by mail I installed it, ran memory test & had a bad sector. So I had to return it & order a new one. The second one passed without any errors on my MacBook Pro, now launching programs is way faster. Good buy!

Best value for memory on the market for any macbook pro. This is the cheapest you will find that is mac specific. Worth the buy.

I had to return these memory RAM cards back to BestBuy. They worked perfectly for 3-4 weeks...after a month pass. It crashed my computer. Took my Mac to the Apple Store, there results on my computer was faulty RAM cards.
