This keyboard rocks! The super soft touch keys make winning easier. The flashing changing colors are great. I can change the color to fit my mood. The added wrist rest adds to the awesomeness of this keyboard. Would buy again. Great product.

Honestly, I was just looking for a solid gaming keyboard. Preferably one that wasn't obnoxiously loud either. One of my friends has the Razer Black Widow Chroma keyboard and told me I should get one too, but I really did not like how loud that thing was. So I looked into this one, and man, it honestly is better in every way (in my opinion), save for one thing. It doesn't have any headphone or microphone port in the back of it, which would have been nice; but in my opinion, this does not really present itself as big enough of an issue to hinder it from getting 5 stars. This thing is also really quiet! So in other words, if you really like the loud click noises that some other mechanical keyboards make, then this Silent edition probably isn't the best for you. Another cool feature in this is that you can actually switch out some of the mechanical keys on this keyboard (you can pull all of them out I believe, just only a few keys actually have something to switch it out with), so its also good for just cleaning underneath the keyboard as well. Excellent job Corsair!

Bought this for my wife's gaming rig. She really likes the keyboard. She enjoys the lighting and being able to match her whole system from desktop theme color to keyboard color to tower color as I built her a custom gaming PC. The functionality is exactly what she wanted, She needed a USB passthrough port available on the keyboard for her mouse because it has a very short cord. I personally have owned a corsair k70 with cherry mx red switches pre rgb era and I love it. when she said she wanted a new keyboard I knew exactly what brand to get her. Reliable, good looking, superior functionality and truly personal customization via the corsair cue lighting system. she gives it a 10/10 and considering she has been using computers since 1980 I believe she has a lot of keyboard time to know when she likes something.

There is a lot to say about this keyboard the build quality the feel of the keyboard along with the RGB colors are awesome the MX cherry red Silent offer a great tactile feel along with the reduced sound, I didn’t want a loud keyboard and this offers the best of both worlds they aren’t super quiet but just right for me. The wrist rest is a nice attachment and most gaming keyboards don’t offer them. I originally paid full price but it went on sale for almost half off the next day so I was able to have the price adjusted. I have been using it for COD WW 2 and love the response and feel. Thanks

Corsair Strafe RGB MX silent edition is a great keyboard. I upgraded from the CM Storm Devastator and was skeptical of the large price tag. It did take me some time to get use to the absence of a tactile feedback (typing errors) but it is silent and gaming is awesome. Construction is sturdy and the fact that I can customize/download the lighting configuration of the RGB was very appealing. The reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because I do miss the tactile feel with the stroke of the keys. If you prefer that feel i would recommend the MX Cherry brown editions instead, but if MX Cherry red is your cup of tea, then by all means purchase this keyboard. You won't regret it.

I finally decided to spend the money on a high end keyboard and I don't regret it. The keys are flawless and the response is perfect. I love corsair products and I hope they keep it up.

I love my Strafe RGB from Corsair, it looks and feels great! Only downside is that I use it for work, and am not able to download the software needed to access all of the different color functions due to IT restrictions. Once my gaming rig is built I will switch it over to that and won't have this problem anymore.

Hands down the best freaking keyboard I have ever owned. The MX key are super smooth, the keyboard feels solid and well built. I'm a new Corsair fan.

I've been an MMO Gamer for quite some time, 2004 to be exact (the release of WoW). Ever since, I've always used Razer peripherals (mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, headset). As of late, their Customer Service is lacking, and so are their products. I upgraded from Razer's Blackwidow Ultimate to the Corsair Strafe RGB. The mechanical keys are substantially more responsive - but that could be due to a 4-year old keyboard. The presentation is better, and it's comforting to know that Corsair uses mainstream MX switches, instead of the off-brand that Razer uses. All-in-all, I'm very happy with the presentation of the keyboard. An additional note: It grips a smooth, slick desktop MUCH better than the Blackwidow Ultimate ever did. I'll be a Corsair customer for the foreseeable future, with no intentions of returning to Razer products.

I bought this keyboard after extensive research of reviews. I had the corsair k70 rgb cherry mx keyboard which was awesome, just a little louder than what I wanted. I gave this strafe keyboard a try and I am totally impressed. It really is quieter. It's still customizable and accurate as my k70...I just like this one better now. It also has a USB pass through.

This is a great mechanical keyboard for gaming, without the super noisy clicking that you get from other keyboards. Wonderful for gamers who want more control while gaming the keys are super fast. The color customization is also great, giving a range of options for colors and patterns on the keyboards.

I bought this keyboard for my office. I am a big fan of corsair peripherals and use M65 mouse in my office. Together they both look very nice however there are some downsides to using this set up. I can not install ICUE software on my work computer and therefore the RGB functionality is very limited. You can plug the keyboard into a machine that has the software installed and set up a RGB profile and save it to the keyboard. Once you plug the keyboard into a machine without the software, the motion features are disabled and you are stuck with the static back lighting. This cosmetic feature shouldn't be a huge deal as long as you know that before spending the premium on a fancy RGB keyboard. What is great is the response of the switches. They are very nice and have a short reset. I got the silent version which doesn't have the distinctive click you expect from mechanical keyboards. It is still a little noisy when typing at full speed and could irritate your coworkers more than if you used a membrane keyboard. One other down point for me is the texture on the keys. They are very smooth for my liking. The included textured WASD and QWERASDF keys are very pleasant. I wish I could purchase this keyboard with the textured keys option. Much more comfortable for me.

Good keyboard , easy to set up . Very hard to figure out why in games it was my person would not stop moving after I hit the A and D keys. It was like they were sticking !!!!! After tech support with no help !!!!!!!!!! This key board comes with Two USB power cords . One to be plugged into the USB 3.0 and one In the 2.0 , well I plugged them both into 2.0 USB plugs and and all was fixed . USB 3.0 plugs are blue and 2.0 are black . Just an FYI . But I must admit it's a great keyboard

Bought this last week after looking to upgrade a older cooler master model that was membrane. After looking at so many I chose this one and glad I did. I don't care for the clicky sound typical mechanical keys make on these kinds of boards but when they come out with this silent model I had to get it. Very quiet and soft to the touch. Very cool lighting effect and not too bright with 3 dimming modes. Millions of combonations to choose from. Software works good. Paid more than I was willing to for a keyboard but made the jump anyway. Very happy with it.

I’ve had this keyboard for a few months now and it has been my most favorite gaming keyboard of all time. Corsair did a great job designing not only the keyboard but the software that runs it. You can customize anything and everything on this keyboard from macros to lighting. Each key can have a different color if you wanted it to and you can also make the keys change colors or perform an action when you type on the keys. The only other one I would recommend would be a K95 keyboard if you want to spend the extra money. However- this keyboard is fantastic- I plan on holding onto it until it breaks which based on the materials used and the design of it- won’t be for a very long time! I should mention that you can change out some of they keys on the left side for grey keys which will feel slightly different from the regular black ones. Great for gaming! Also- this keyboard uses two USB ports to plug into the computer.

Lighting is bright and fairly easy to customize. The software takes a little bit of figuring out but once you get it, it's a blast to customize. The keys are pretty quiet for mechanicals, so if you like the clack they probably aren't for you.

Admittedly, I didn't buy this for gaming, rather for work. I needed a good keyboard that had keys that actually sat up instead of the trend toward these flat key keyboards. And I love the feel of the mech keyboards, especially those with a positive click feel to the keys, but figured I would drive everyone nuts with the constant clicking. Enter the Strafe RGB Silent, which has all the feel and features of a mechanical keyboard with a much quieter key activation. Keys are responsive and typing on it feels better than just about any keyboard I've used. The keys are individually lit with RGB LEDs, so each key can be configured to a different color. FPS and MOAB lighting layouts are pre-programmed, or you can control them yourself easily with the Corsair program. The program also includes color schemes you can download from the community, including things like flags, a Matrix-like color pattern, etc. If you buy the Corsair mouse, and even the mouse pad & headphones, you can link the color schemes together such that as a color transitions off the keyboard it will "flow" into the mouse, then the mouse pad, then the headphones before flowing back into the keyboard. Kind of a cool feature. The keyboard also features one (1) pass thru USB slot, which generally you're going to use for your mouse, but could do anything up to & including charging your cell phone. The only con I found was the wrist pad. Corsair says it's just the right balance between smooth & tactile to keep your hands in place, but it's anything but. It's like putting your hands on a wrist pad covered in vegetable oil -- your hands will slip right off it. I found me removing it like 5 minutes after I put it on. This is an absolutely great keyboard and highly recommend it.

The keyboard is beautiful with the RGB backlit key colors. The mechanics in the keys are beautiful and click very well. Options for what colors are very open and key bindings are very customizable
