As someone who fairly new to the final fantasy world. I wanted to play this game, having great moments with Final fantasy 15 and 7 remake i figured id give this game a try. At first the game was interesting till it was getting repetitive with its hero quotes or genesis and his stupid poetry. The combat is basic to the point that you dont really need skill. However it was extremely that the leveling was based on triple 7's which i hated. I ended up not even finishing the game and only found zack and aeriths friendship interesting.

The purchase did not include the steelbook that was advertised with the pre-order. At the time of preorder, a steelbook advertised. When i talked to customer support about this issue, they pretended they knew nothing about it and refused to help.

This game has nearly been overhauled from its PSP origins. Square is marketing it as a remaster but its really a soft remake with how much new content has been implemented. After playing the game for over 30 hours I can say without a doubt there's no need to go back to the original unless you really love the original voice actors. My only real gripe with Reunion is that I wish the dialogue got updated but I understand that the process for that can be costly. Other than that however the game is a must play for any Final Fantasy fan out there.

Absolutely phenomenal remaster, elevating the combat, graphics, models, and music to new levels. Everything is now voice acted. The combat has been revamped and improved in every way.
Crisis Core has never looked or sounded better… for the most part. Unfortunately, the new voice acting for protagonist Zack Fair simply does not fit his character. It’s painfully apparent how much Zack’s character is shaped from Rick Gomez’s fantastic portrayal in the original. It’s disappointing, especially with how incredible the Remake cast was. As a massive fan of the original and Zack as a character, the voice acting unfortunately does hamper the enjoyment.

If you are into final fantasy games this is a pickup. I really like the story and this is an up remaster from the PlayStation 1 version of the game. I definitely recommend this game.

FF7 Crisis Core was an amazing psp game that has now been ported onto modern consoles. It looks fantastic, plays smooth and has no issues. The story is the same with the psp version. Though I do wish there was some alternate ending showing how zack did survive that was probably put into FF7 Rebirth instead. Recomend people play this if they want to know more on FF7 world. I do hope they bring back the other FF7 spin off and remake it like this.

What a fantastic remaster! I never got to play the original, as I never owned the PSP. Thankful for this edition and glad I am able to play what many are calling the definitive version of this game!

Always been a final fantasy fan so I decided to buy this game when I recently purchased a PlayStation 5. As a fan of the older turnbased style of combat I was surprised to find myself enjoying the action combat. Half way through the game and I really like it!

This game is absolutely amazing! I personally would rate this game a 5/5 due to nostalgia reasons playing this back on the PSP. If I'm being completely realistic it is not a perfect game.
People need to know that before going into this is that this game WAS a PSP game and it really shows in some game animations and mechanics. The only real differences from this game and the original is the graphics, controls, and some new features here and there.
Most of the issues in this game come from the fact that it did come from a system that wasn't necessarily powerful. Some of these include repetitive gameplay, and missions that usually are comprised of hallway -> fight room rinse and repeat.
The story is awesome, a bit weird at times but you get to know the origins of cloud, his mentor, and the buster sword.

Classic made new!! Honestly one of the best games around if you’re into JRPG’s. If you’re still deciding whether to get this game, I’d suggest grabbing a copy asap. Game is worth its price tag if not more especially if you’re a fan of FF7

A great game that until now was locked away on Sonys little hand held, the original psp. For those of us who love the world of Final Fantsy 7, crisis Core Réunion sets to fill in the story of the buster sword and how it ended in the hands of Cloud. Why Cloud is the way he is. How Cloud came to be... its a fun title transitionted from hand held to console. Grpahics are upgraded. Looks great. Gameplay is smooth, but designed for a hand held. Still fun if by todays standars somewjat easy.

This is a remaster, not a remake. And for those who don't know: yes, this game is official canon to Final Fantasy VII. I first got this game on my PSP in March of 2008 and loved every minute of it. This remaster is everything I remember and just a little more pretty. It is a gripping story driven action game with a fun, but simple enough game play style. I am so happy to have had access to play this game again and I absolutely love it.
