A game that brought back so many memories, the game itself is a remake with scenes being one to one and the writing is the same as before, the gameplay improvements are really a welcome as the game felt cumbersome to play before. One negative I would say is the graphic cutscenes were AI upscaled that needed to be completely redone from ground up but all in all its a great remake. Must play if you are new to the series or want to know the events prior of FFVII.

If you've played this on the PSP you're going to love playing this version of it. My only gripe with it is that I didn't care for the English re-cast for Zach. I started the game with English Dub but the voice just didn't seem right so I switched everything to Japanese. The Japanese voice acting was really great anyways even though I'm usually one to just have games voiced out in English. This game is a must buy for anyone who loves the FFVII series.

The mechanics really was ps2-esque, which made sense why it was so linear but it was still fun! The story was amazing. Got you to understand why people fell in love in Zack more than Cloud. Playing it for the first time and having Rebirth less than two months away makes me really prepared for the game.

Everyone who plays this needs to remember that this is a PSP game. The level designs, gameplay, story, everything was designed for handheld gaming in mind. That being said, this game is good. Not great. But good and is priced as such. If you're a fan of the FF7 world, this wouldn't a bad game to try out. The story has major spoilers to the original FF7 game and the Remake trilogy. It's advised to only play Crisis Core once you know the FF7 story.

If you found the original addictive, then you haven’t seen anything yet. The game runs smoothly and graphically looks amazing with stunning animations and visuals.

Did justice to theboriginal game while keeping the game fresh graphically and story-wise. Felt like it went away from the original song motif but the ending of the game was very well done. I mever finished the original on PSP so I can’t speak to all the differences but was very happy with my playthrough of this game.

What a game. What a game. Originally I played and beat Crisis Core on the psp. Back then I was able to play on my TV via the component cable. Very impressive at the time with graphics and audio. I was blown away that this game ran on a handheld. I loved every single second of the game that I replayed it on Hard. I'm so happy that many years later I can replay this not on the ps4 but a ps5. I'm having fun again playing a game as a game and not as a live service or dlc and micro transactions popping up on the screen. All the enhancements given to the remaster makes this by far the version to play to the point going back almost feels tedious. I really love the summons as well they are so good on Reunion. The scene with Sephorith, Angeal and Gackt....I mean Genesis is as excellent as it ever was. I always wished the already lengthy cutscene was even longer with the One Winged Angel playing showcasing Sephorith's real strength. This game gives such a different feel to Sephorith it makes you feel for him. Just an overall HIGHLY recommended game.

Great game. This remaster is beautiful. The visuals are amazing. The voice retooling is fantastic. The story is wonderful. And the gameplay is far superior than it's predecessor. This is an incredible reimagining of an older PSP Classic that really shows the love.

Fantasyic remake. Graphics look wonderful on ps5, solid 60fps. Game is essentially a complete 1:1 remake but vastly updated graphically, new voice cast, and battle system is smoother, faster, more refined, and had a few thiga added to it all for the better.

I've really enjoyed this game. it puts together a good timeline on what happened prior to FF7. The game was funny and heartbreaking like you expect from the FF series.

Super fun and easy to play as a casual gamer. The story revolves around whether soldiers are monsters or heroes. The ending is bittersweet, but great game overall.

Its a great remaster from the original that anyone can enjoy, for those new to the game you can see its age in some parts but the cutscenes and combat are very smooth, I recommend playing especially if your a fan of FF7 remake.

This game should be called a remake its so well done. This is a shorter Final Fantasy game but is a ton of fun. If you enjoyed Final Fantasy 7 Remake you should definitely get this one and find out more about Zack.

This game is one of my absolute favorites on the PSP, and this remake was an incredible gift to fans. The new voice actors were a bit hard to get used to after hearing the old ones for years, but they did great. The graphics are of course wonderful and I love the charm of the old animations still being there. The combat has the same feel but updated controls and UI has really made the game feel good to play, which I am very pleased by. After doing everything in the game for the first time now on the remaster, this is a title I'm glad to be able to treasure for the rest of my life.

Never got to play the PSP version so I was very excited for this remaster. I loved this game. The combat, story, and visuals were amazing. This is a top notch remaster. Worth every penny.

This is a great game, especially if you are a fan of the Final Fantasy series , or just a fan of the original Crisis Core game. The graphics are really impressive, and it feels like it's made for the PS5, not just an updated version of the game.

must have title for any ff fan, really enjoyed replaying on ps5
