If you're looking for a more open combat experience from a Final Fantasy game like FFVII Remake, this is for you, if you want something more in line with FFVII OG, then this probably isn't for you. I personally favored this kind of gameplay more when I first got into the series, but as I played more turn based combat games like Persona 5, turn based combat started to grow on me. I would 100% recommend this game.

I have been waiting to play this game for ages. 5he graphical upgrade is nice and the story is enjoyable if you love Final Fantasy lore. Cut scenes are a little dated.

Really good remaster I wish they could all look this good after so many years. I Played this back on the PSP and didnt care for it. This time I had alot of fun with it.

It’s a lot different than the psp version but to me it’s a welcome edition specifically for younger gamers who never got a chance to play the OG. Game is fast pace and the mechanic is even more simple than before but that’s not a bad thing. Storytelling is… no words for it because it is that good! Emotional, quirky and many moments will want to come back and play once u complete it and for the price it’s a no brainer. Cherish the moment because u won’t forget it

Great game! This remake captures all of what made the original awesome but adds so much more. Totally worth the play-through for any FFVII fan.

The visual and technical improvements in this version of Crisis Core were astounding. The transition to the PS5 allowed for enhanced graphics, showcasing stunning character models, vibrant environments, and breathtaking cinematic sequences. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the updated animations added an extra layer of immersion, capturing the essence of the characters and their emotions with remarkable precision.

Don’t expect FF7 remake quality, but it’s still a solid remaster of an old psp game. Fan favorite characters are back and that was reason enough for me to pick it up. New combat system is a big improvement

Hadn't played since PSP, was a great refresher before playing rebirth. Has a lot of backstory for characters that didn't get much in the main series. Great game.

Love this game. Sad with Zacks new voice actor but it’s nice to be able to play again since the days of PSP

Crisis Core takes you back to peak Square-Enix days. It's an addicting action jrpg with a very interesting story from the start. I feel like Square-Enix perfected action jprgs combat with this game, new developers can learn from this. The graphics look beautiful on PS5, and it runs at a solid 60 fps.

Crazy that this story was essentially told as a missable scene in the og FF7 and fleshed out in a way that fits so well into the canon. The battle system and materia fusion system are a unique spin on the original system. See some classic faces and excited to see them as they continue the FF7 remake trilogy.

I preordered this game for the steelbook but also as I have yet to play the original on the PSP I am very excited about this game! The steelbook pays homage to the original through and through. It’s not an entire remake but more like a HD Remaster with some quality of life updates for current gamers. Highly recommend if you want to know what happened before FF7 and how this will shape the following games to come!

If you're a fan of final fantasy 7 you have to play this, there is no excuse, and even if your just an action rpg fan this game is perfect. Just the right length of a game with plenty of different ways to customize your battle strategy and style. Just be aware the game is mission based since it is a remaster of a psp game.
