I have tried everything from brushes, cleaning cloths, and even putty. This is by far the easiest to use and most effective out of all of them. It does a great job at picking up the surface dust and you simply rinse it off to clean it. It is not designed to deep clean, you will need to get another product for very dirty records.
To clean surface dust off before each spin simply place the record on the platter and start the motor and use the roller in the direction of the grooves. If your turntable doesn't have a lot of torque you may need to manually spin the platter (especially if it's belt driven). Make sure you keep it in it's plastic case after each use.

Ive use a different types of cleaners and I honestly think ghis so good for those dust that doesn’t wanna come off
