Purchased to replace original Hard Drive. It's faster and feel I got good value for the price. It seems be be reliable product.

The hard drive is very fast. Also solved allot of older problems. I used my ‘reboot’ disc (on memory stick) and had zero problems rebooting system.

Great, fast and easy to replace for a DIY. Bestbuy had many in stock so I did not have to wait when my drive was beginning to slow down and could have stopped working at any point.

I have been using Crucial ssd since they first came out, and non have failed me so far, so this time I needed a clone of my main drive, I have hdd clones but they are about 7 yrs old and one of these days they might not be accessible so I want to be sure that I am covered, I just need a 500gb but unfortunately Best Buy did not have one available so I just picked this 1 tb Crucial, I have one Crucial 500gb ssd with Windows 7 which I switch to when I need to use my old programs that would not run on Windows 10 i.e. Adobe CS3, and another with Win 10, all my old Crucial were MLC which I prefer, these newer ones are TLC, 3d are supposed to be an improvement over the old TLC, though they did have 500gb on m.2, but I still prefer this type of ssd due to non heating and throttling issue that m.2 suffers, so now I will just wait and see if the newer one will be as good or better than my 2 older ssds. But I do trust this company so I could for sure recommend using their products

Easy to install, fairly fast (at least compared to HHD) and so far no complains (I’ve only had this drive installed for like a month or so but so far so good).

I have gone all SSD on all my systems. When you can boot in 18 seconds it just makes all the difference. Crucial makes this install as simple as can be for laptop or desktop. There is nothing I have ever done to enhance performance on a computer that is as noticeable as this. Highly recommend.

Easy to install, lasts a long time and I get the quick start up on my PC. Helps increase my FPS amd shortens loading time for tasks

I bought this drive and I put it into my MPC key 61 and it works fantastic. I like crucial and they are the company I buy my memory and probably 90% of the solid-state drives I buy from. I will continue to purchase from them because they’re awesome.

Replaced a 500GB Samsung evo 860 with this 1TB crucial. Have been using for a few weeks with no problems. Performance seems to be comparable to the evo. Excellent price for the value. Crucial cloning software worked very well to swap the data between the drives.

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop that had a HDD. This SSD replaced it. It appears to operate as its supposed to. It was installed by the Best Buy Geek Squad. I asked that the computer's RAM be increased, and the Squad failed to do so. I tried reaching the Squad by text, email and telephone, with no success. It also took me 2-3 hours to reinstall or reactivate my programs because they did not recognize this laptop as a device from which I signed/logged in before.

Installed this SSD in my desktop... AsRock gaming PC with Intel i3... easy installation and no conflicts... great speed.

I used the Crucial Scan to get the correct or optimal products on my Dell to upgrade it. The unit after cloning and installation, replacing the original HDD, has made an extreme improvement in the speed of so many aspects of the computer's operation. Ordering the proper recommended hardware accessories for the cloning operation and using the recommended application to do it makes the process precise and simpler. Although unless you are familiar with the process, a little advance study and getting familiar with terminology helps a lot in doing, and feeling you are doing it correctly. I started replacing more HDD drives with SSD drives on my other computers.

Great ssd for my sons gaming laptop upgrade. Befor he was you a usb external hard drive for extra space for games. This is much fast and its integrated into the laptop. He is very happy and so am i because i dont hear him complaining anymore about how slow the games are

The Crucial - MX500 1TB Internal SSD SATA is fast and reliable, and is a really good value.

Even if you aren’t looking for more storage capacity, this is something to consider if you want to speed up the performance of your computer.

this is an awesome ssd for the money. it is large, easy to install, and comes with great customer support. be sure to log onto the crucial website to install the software for your computer to make the ssd even faster. highly recommended, would buy again!
