Greate SSD to upgrade older spinning laptop hard drive. Crucial free software to copy old drive worked like a charm. Gave new life to older laptop and now it boots in a matter of seconds instead of minutes. Always recommend the largest capacity drive you can afford and this 1 TB is the sweet spot.

Reads and writes fast. Next best thing to a Samsung ssd 870. The instructions for installing the driver for the SSD don't seem quite up to date though, at least not my version of windows 10

Easy install really good price no issues well worth the buy

I've used these to refresh old desktop computers. The speed of this drive is much faster than any old spinning disk drives, and the operation is silent. Using these is a inexpensive way to extend the useful life of an old PC.

This costs a bit more than a PNY SSD but gives you increased longevity and slightly better performance. Also comes with Acronis disk cloning software which is very good. For my laptop this was the only possible upgrade.

I use my desktop for digital drawing and everything was lagging so badly even though I have 16gb of RAM installed. So I exchanged my sad 250gb HDD for this and WHAT. A. Difference. This product worked right out of the box using the free cloning software provided by Crucial. Changing to a SSD can improve your computer performance drastically. My windows laptop was showing 100% disk usage during startup and was stalling when windows updates were downloading. A SSD will solve this problem.

I purchased this SSD drive for a computer that I was building a month ago. It's a good deal for the amount of memory and it also loads things faster than my old HDD. I built another computer this month and installed this drive into it. So far it has had no issues!
