Make sure your laptop is compatible, this is a large ssd card. My MSI sword was able to take this. Gives a ton more storage. Would recommend.

The ssd works great! I installed it on my 2012 MacBook 13 inch and my computers boots up so my quicker and get my task done asap.

Great use for my PS5. If you have a lot of PS4 games, this is a great SSD to plug and play with the PS5. Just get a cheap SATA adapter and format it within the console. It's fast and reliable and something I wish the Xbox allows.

This is an excellent upgrade to a hdd drive. Lightning fast compared to a hdd. Very easy to install. I installed this drive into an older Toshiba laptop. Just make sure to swap over everything from your old drive to the new drive. (Some have an enclosure around them to make them fit more secure)

The Crucial MX500 1TB (CT1000MX500SSD1) does what it's meant to do—store files and allow quick read/write operations. I added this drive to the original meagre storage available on my laptop and have thereafter enjoyed the performance and expanded capability that this additional device offers.

Bought this as an upgrade for my parents’ home PC. Great speed improvement once up and running. The cloning software that came with this SSD didn’t work—hung indefinitely. Not clear if purly software issues there or if the old spinning hard drive was starting to fail. Backing up the disk using windows and restoring to this SSD did the trick.

Not bad if you want to revive old equipment this makes it 8 to 10 times faster than it was hhd to ssd to squeeze a few more years of usage…

Good option as a replacement of your current hard drive. This SSD is a good way to improve start up and shut down times of a Windows OS. The MX500 is not the best available SSD on the market, but provides a great value with good performance.

My old hard drive went out and best buy recommended to replace it with this one. So far so good, the laptop is over seven years old and runs well with this new solid state drive.
