This prevented me from taking advantage of the discount for signing up again. I was in California with my sick son. My daughter picked up my computer because I was going to be gone for 3 mos. I left that message with the geek squad before I left. Otherwise I would have signed up again. Due the death of my husband I do not have the money to pay the increase in the price of the service. I have had the service for several years and regret I can not afford it now. If I had know about the discount I would have taken advantage of it. Thanks to the geek squad for many years of support, knowledge and caring. Trish

My father had some sort of hacker attempt on his personal computer which incidentally also locked him out of it. So rather than messing with it, we brought into the Geek Squad dept since they have done so well with our other systems in the past and the next day it was ready for retrieval. Whole system back-up then wiped with a fresh new operating system to get back on his feet with his pc and pick up where he left off. Geek Squad is fast, efficient, professional and cost effective.

My old dell laptop needed to be upgraded. I was out of town and just walked in without an appointment. The staff was extremely helpful and fitted me in. They explained the whole process in simple terms since computers are not my strong point and even wrote down everything I would need in a new laptop that I had to buy that day. They were very professional and expedient considering that I had very limited time in Seattle. The whole process was seamless and painless !

Levi provided excellent information and service when we purchased. Returned a week later and made a payment and canceled one refrigerator. We had to measure so we had both standard and counter depth. I was unable to get a new print out and the prices changed in the system. I was assured that the prices on my receipt will be honored. Would have preferred an updated statement. Have faith the discounts will be honored

Got this TV for the living room when on sale and looked at numerous other 4K UHD TV's in comparison. Didn't feel SUHD was necessary for us right now and was impressed with this Samsung. Great picture, easy to use Smart remote and has been perfect for watching the olympics and other sporting event. Movies have been phenomenal as well with us seeing details we haven't ever noticed before on our previous 1080p Samsung. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend.

We were having a problem with our hard drive. Geek Squad backed up all of our data and reinstalled on our new hard drive. Works beautifully.

My wife and I had a Flat Screen TV sitting on our bedroom mirror dresser which was taking up needed space. We had thought of purchasing a wall mount at one time, however, we thought it would be costly and a problem to install. We talked to a store Associate who showed us various models and their capabilities and pricing. We found a unit that rotated and pivoted just what we needed and the pricing was much better than I expected. Sorry that no pictures of the unit on the wall would upload.

Had a hard drive problem on my new laptop that i had to take it in to fix. Lucky the warranty didnt run out. Geek Squad in Best Buy transfered all files from laptop so we got to keep mostly pictures. The problem was that it took 3 days for my files to be put in a 1Tbt drive because thay had other jobs before me. I had to pay for the drive and additional fees for the process of getting my laptop sent. I did have to pull money out of my own pocket for this but at least i got to keep my pictures.

Great staff, hooked me up with Geek Squad service for 3 years, consoled me when my hard drive was officially kaput. (We're planning a burial in the back yard.) They were still able to extract my tax documents and work portfolio. Yeah!! Gave me numbers to call to try and get restore disks for the defunct drive...but apparently I'm obsolete. Lol. New laptop in hand...it will be going to the squad for program installations. Because, well, I learned to compute with backslash "run".

When Microsoft did an update, it shutdown my keyboard and would not allow me to use it at all. I went to Best Buy for help and they explained what happened and were able to backup my data. I then brought my computer home and reformatted the hard drive as they instructed me to do. They said they could push the button but it would have cost me about $50. So instead they showed me how to do it myself and save money!@

Fast, nice screen, loads of memory. Having the SSD and HD together makes it so easy. Really nice to have the fast start-up and the i7 processor also helps make everything fast. The speakers are horrid and it is worth getting an extra speaker. I did have a problem that seems to be more related to Microsoft Windows and not the computer but ASUS service was really great - and I didn't ahve to wait on hold forever like most other types of service calls today.

They fixed my laptop so I didn’t have to buy another new one.

I recently had a laptop that needed to be replaced...after my 11 year old daughter stepped on it and crushed it. The hard drive was not responsive, and could not be piggy-backed onto another computer for backup. Most private repair places want around $400 and up to recover lost data. Best Buy charges less than $150, AND it comes with a portable hard drive included! They were very quick to finish the job. I highly recommend their service.

The hard drive of my Dell all-in-one died under warranty. They took it in around 8 p.m., got me a terabyte external hard drive to transfer the data to (which of course was an additional purchase, as expected), they had out on the way to have the hard drive replaced the next day. Within a week, I had it back, working perfectly, all my data on the external hard drive to restore.

Yea! Got my data back after my computer crashed. The only problems were that the initial tech did not know how to restore some of the files I requested, and sent me home before I realized it had not been done. When I took it back, another tech restored the missing files, was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Should not have had to make two trips, but end result was good. Thank you Geek Squad for your help.

My laptop had crashed and Marty with Geek Squad informed me about the My Passport 1 TB portable hard drive and how he can pull everything off my laptop and place it on the hard drive. After a few days, I received a call that it was ready. I couldn't be any happier with the services that I received from Geek Squad and the amazing associate that assisted.

My computer died so I bought an external hd to have all my pictures, e-mails, and personal documents removed and stored on, so I could use it with my new computer. The customer service I received when buying the external hd and the tech service to transfer the files were top notch. They only needed 24 hours and I was able to access all my old files again.

Disk crashed on job in Miami. Had to work with two differen Geek shops beacuse office disk were at home. ONce Office was installed foud out the outlook files hadn't been backed up in Miami. Miami geek squad went out of their way to track down my old disk (which had been sent in already) get it sent back to Miami and then forwared to the Boise shop so the geek squad there could get my email files.

One day before I was going to buy an external hard drive and back up everything, my internal hard drive died. Geek Squad had the tools, equipment, and expertise necessary to retrieve everything from my bad hard drive and copy it onto my new hard drive. I lived two very tense days waiting to tell my wife that Geek Squad saved our memories. Thank you Geek Squad.

Geek Squad is great but store associates at Woodbridge Best Buy have a tendency to carry on a conversation with themselves while you are standing there and still have to ask for help. Has happened at check out also. Associates will be talking about personal business while a customer waits to purchase there items. I would recommend Geek Squad but a different Best Buy Store other than Best Buy on Prince William Parkway, Woodbridge Virginia.
