This is a great Game ! Open world with plenty to do. The shooting mechanics are okay and plenty of ZOMBIES !

Sony clearly rushed this game to market. It's unpolished in areas, has some performance issues that can be annoying but overall it's absolutely worth playing. There are hours and hours of content, game play is solid and balanced. The game provides plenty of genuinely terrifying and adrenaline pumping moments. Never too difficult or overly frustrating. The worst part about this game is how great it could have been if they were able to finish it.

At first the game was a little slow but i kept at it and I'm so glad I did. The story is amazing. Had moments that made me angry, sad, happy, shocked me, made me jump, nervous, so many thing. Had so much fun playing this game I didn’t want it to end. I highly recommend this game. I would even say to buy a PS4 to play it, it’s that good. Along with games like God of War and the other great exclusives getting a PS4 is an absolute must.

Fantastic open world game play. I am playing on ps4 pro. With that said the game has no game breaking bugs I can report and the game is very long and has a very captivating story. I highly recommend it if you like post zombie apocalypse games. Few zombie thriller titles are as fun as this one. It is like the Division series style shooting with a hint of Red Dead in it and the game feels like I’m playing last of us

When it comes to the Genre 'The Last of Us' 1 & 2, are hands down my favorite but this is VERY close behind. I love the controls, game play, and scenery! It's based in Oregon! Where I live! (Kinda creepy during the horror parts thinking it could happen around here) this is a really fun game and offers an open world you get to travel around by vehicle, I would absolutely recommend. 10/10

I consider this game similar to Control in that it sort of came out of nowhere to blow people away. And it steadily got more and more popular. There is nothing like taking on a Horde in this game. Tension is all around and makes you appreciate the down times just as much. Story alone is well worth it. But you'll have plenty of replayability with the side missions alone after the story is over.

This is one of those games that deserves more attention. The story was very engaging. The game is also very long. When I thought it was finished it opened up a whole new side. I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I really hope they create a second game. Only down side is there’s some frame rate issues but it didn’t stop me from enjoying. It should be less of a problem if you’re playing on a PS4 Pro. Definitely recommended.

This is one of the best games I’ve ever played. The story is great, the gameplay is great. Everything is awesome. The progression is balanced and fun with upgrades to your bike. I think it’s a travesty they aren’t making a sequel.

I preordered this game a long time ago back when I saw it at an E3 conference. I was very excited to finally play it but then I heard and read comments online about this game that were mostly negative but still decided to go through with my purchase. This is an open world game that starts out really slow as you try and get the back story on your character, the story, and the world as the infected call "freakers" roam the world or at least Oregon where the game takes place. The freakers remind you of zombies but they're not.
I guess the big difference is that freakers are still living creatures.
If you can get past the first 8 hours or so that's when the game opens up and starts to shine. You start to see more character development, the story picks up, a lot of different options open up, and you start to learn more about the freakers. This is a long game, so far I'm about 16 hours in and having fun. I find myself doing a lot of side missions to level up my character and access different parts of the map. The only bad part I see right now that's not really a deal breaker is that your only mode of transportation is either by foot or your motorcycle. Your motorcycle can be upgraded as you progress the story with skins, decals, upgraded parts, etc... The only downside to the motorcycle is that while traveling you have to constantly get gas out in the world. There are gas stations and gas cans with fuel in them but it's just a pain sometimes to do that over and over. I have also ran out of gas a couple of times out in the middle of no where having to go on foot with freakers around to look for gas. Oh well other than that I'm liking this game and can't wait to keep playing.

This is a real fun game to play, but very glitchy. There’s been many time were I was just about to stealth attack a freaker, and just as I draw my weapon the freaker disappears. If you can get over the freezing frames, disappearing enemies, along with sometimes you hit the attack button and the character just stands there, then this game has many hours of pretty cool gameplay. Definitely worth a buy and long as you don’t freak over hiccups.

Phenomenal game. Hooked from the 1st 10 minutes of gameplay. Awesome open world. Great graphics. What may be waiting in the dark will keep you on the edge. Level system is great. After you finish the game you can take on the challenges which are fun and unlock in game extras. New game + is a must. I love this game. One of the best in its genre.

If you like The Walking Dead or The Last of Us then this will be the open world game for you. You play as Deacon, a biker trying to survive like everyone else during the freaker apocalypse. You travel the beautiful post-apocalyptic open world scavenging supplies and avoiding the freaker hordes on your trusty motorcycle. There are day and night cycles and a dynamic weather system to shake things up every once in a while. Check it out!

Open world zombie game, with impressive giant (and unbeatable- RUN!) zombie hordes. That’s about it, it’s got a lot of content (as you do in an open world game) though a lot of it is repetitive and sloggy- I feel like this is the descendant problem of the ridiculous difficulty of the 8 and 16-bit eras; “adding a ton of samey content to pad out a game” is the new “making a game ridiculously difficult to show value.”
