Death Stranding: Director’s Cut on PS5 refines Kojima’s original vision with enhanced visuals, faster load times, DualSense features, and new content like missions, weapons, and traversal tools. It’s the best way to experience this unique, atmospheric journey, though its deliberate pacing and delivery gameplay loop remain divisive for some players.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. There are a lot of people who call this a "movie game"; yes it has cutscenes and the graphics are lifelike, but my enjoyment of this game comes from the gameplay itself, which I find to be very engaging and fun. On top of that, the overall mood that the game creates is unique and interesting.

This is a good game with a great graphics, story and characters. The game centers around making deliveries but the gameplay loop is very addicting as there are many ways of tackling your missions. You will have access to equipment, vehiclesband resources from other players online to help complete your missions.

Although I did not finish this game, I can recommend it due to it being genuinely and wholly unique. Kojima and his team have created a tolkein-esque world that creates new tropes and dynamics within the video game genre. Have to respect it.

It's weird but very interesting. The gameplay is fun and the story is very unique. I never got bored and some scenes still stick in my mind. The graphics are really good too, and sound design is excellent. Tons of great twists and plot moments

If you want a good story, this is that game! Looks excellent on the new gen console!
I didn’t know what to expect when I bought it, but it exceeded my expectations. It’s not the most action packed game, but the story, characters, world building, musical score, and the ambiguous nature of the game all make up for it! I recommend giving Death Stranding a try!

Great game, definitely not a walking simulator. If you like being your own manager and helping solve world problems this game is a must. Thought provoking story and crazy how the game predicted Covid.

I beat this game and loved it!! Still love it, and play it even after beating it. The story was great. The story and action in the beginning felt a little slow/ dragged out but immediately picked up and got better.

I got my hands on "Death Stranding" and, wow, what a ride! Playing as Sam and delivering stuff across a freaky, post-apocalyptic America was something else. The landscapes are crazy beautiful, but man, getting through them can be a real pain sometimes. It's not your usual run-and-gun game; it's more about planning your route and balancing loads, which can be kinda cool but also a bit slow at times.
The story? Super deep and sometimes a bit too wild to follow, but it's got its moments. I mean, it's Kojima, so you know you're in for some weirdness. Overall, it's one of those games you either love or just don't get. I'm glad I gave it a shot – it's not something I'd play every day, but definitely cool in its own weird way.

This game is one of a kind! I have never played a Kojima game, so I am new to his games. This game is a masterpiece! The prologue had me hooked. I know the game is a "walking simulator" but I don't think so. One can traverse mountains, cliffs, and valleys which brings amazing background shots and gets you immersed into the journey as a porter. The journey is a deep and beautiful experience which not many games can master. This game pairs well with a 4k TV. The soundtrack is amazing! It suits the game really well. For those getting into the game for the first time, take your time and enjoy every aspect of the game. For those who stopped playing the game, I suggest getting back in because the new features of the Director's Cut make the experience better.

Hideo Kojima's first game after Metal Gear and I think he did a pretty good job. The story is unique, and the graphics and the acting is top notch. The beginning could be boring to some but as you go farther in the game its gets better and better.

Absolutely love this game so much. Such a good gameplay and storyline! Watched a YouTuber Hollow play and had to get it for myself. If you are thinking of getting this game for sure get it

Not for everyone. The game is slow paced for the first few hours, and really nails home how dreary the protagonist's job is. A delivery man in a world stuck inside. Hit a little too close to home with all the lockdowns over the course of the pandemic. Worth a playthrough as the game goes full Kojima once you really get into it.

Not for everybody, but if it’s for you, you’ll love it. This is definitely a game you should research a bit to decide if it is for you. It’s too much to try to write out in a small review, but I thought it was a great experience overall even if it takes a bit to get going and I personally see it as way more than the delivery driver simulator some would have you believe it is. Check it out sometime.
