Disappointing voice sound clarity. Beautiful and seems to be well-made. I thought being sealed it would offer better accuracy. I compared this side by side at home against a less expensive Sony a much more expensive Martin Logan - both ported. Both of the other speakers offered much better clarity in conversation, which is the primary purpose of the center channel in home theater. I wound up returning the speaker. I calibrated the system for each center channel before testing and set the volume at the same level. It seems that others have a different experience, but this one just didn't work for me.

No real depth of sound as it got completely overwhelmed but my 9040 towers. I returned this and bought the center channel 9040 and couldn't be happier.

As the DT ProCenter 1000 is perfectly suitable for small to medium rooms, the CS9040 is a perfect match for your BP9040 tower speakers.

this is only for a small system set up. If you have very powerful main speaker don't get this. not enough speaker for medium to large speakers. Sad to say i was recommended this by a sales person and the magnolia location in plano texas Kinda made me feel liek the sales person didn't know his speakers . I would have paid more but he told me this would be fine.

Definitive Technology ProCenter 1000 ReviewThe ProCenter 1000 delivers surprising audio. Between BDSS technology and the bass radiators, this little center channel speaker can produce rich, full sound. It's small enough to be hidden away, but the audio is quite prominent. Having a center
