Tested with blue ray dvd. No bueno as expected. Tested with regular dvd. Yes bueno. Both were tested on MacBook Air. Got it for $15. Happy camper!

Excellent dvd/cd recorder/player. Very easy to use with any computer/laptop.

The Dell USB DVDRW Drive seems to be a good value for the money. At first glance it seems to feel a little flimsy but it stands up to everyday use pretty well. Fast response time and comes with “POWER DVD” app which is a pleasure to use.

Plays CDs on first try. Software provided worked well and so did the device. Had no problems. Hooked up to my new external USB ports with ease.

Laptops don’t come with CD drive any more & I refuse to pay for streaming music monthly- so this allows me to transfer my favorite old CDs to my computer for iTunes!

I haven't been able to use this yet, but will soon to burn music to CD's with my new laptop I purchased from Best Buy as well.

Great buy. I was used to the disc drive already installed in the desktop. The item was on sale, works perfectly.

Worked surprisingly well. Played movies faster/better than the build in drive on my old Dell laptop.

I purchased this product because the read/writer on my computer went out and instead of spending a lot of money for a new internal drive, I purchased the Dell external drive, glad I did. This is perfect! The bonus is its portable.

Very light. Reads and plays CDs fine. Haven't used it for any large jobs yet though.

For the price it's a good deal, a bit on the slow side during install but is well worth the money paid for it.

I'm a little disappointed my new PC didn't come with a disk drive but in today's day and age I get it. Either way this unit was inexpensive and easy to install.

Wanted to put several hundred cd’s onto my iPhone, since few laptops have dvd/cd drive/burners I needed an external drive. Easy to use.
