Most of today's labtops don't have cd drives. This portable cd drive is a godsend that gives you the power to use your CDs and DVDs without breaking a sweat.

Works great and does the job it is supposed to do.

Bought to load SW on the new laptop that did not have a drive. A good option by the way. Don't need to lug around the drive for the life of the laptop when it will only be used for a little loading when the laptop is new. Drive works very well. Happy

No instructions on how to operate. Instructions with unit only went as far as hooking it up. I’ve had three meetings with Geek Squad on how to use, because company’s web site was totally useless! Selecting ‘User Guide’ and/or ‘tutorials’ , off their site , was nada. And no chat or number to call.

I’m still old school enough to still need an external disk drive for my thin laptop and Chromebook and this fits the need.

I was a little surprised when my new laptop did not have a slot to read a dvd for new software. This inexpensive reader solved my problem. It is very light weight and very easy to use.

Works good, but it does seem to have some issues with playing an "enhanced DVD" like Ice Age 3 for some reason.

I miss internal CD/Internal drives. However, this product does the job. I am a bit old school. While I will download software and so on, I also like the option of using disks to install software or play movies or music. This product does the job.
