I needed a RW Disk Drive for both my husband's and my laptops. This works perfectly on both our HP laptops and is small and convenient.

This is an inexpensive DVD drive that plugs into the USB of your computer. It takes a few minutes to set up the software, and then that's it! I like it, and I'm hard to please.

Was easy to use with my laptop. Really no instructions needed. Got it on sale.

I had a few CD and new computer did not have a drive. This allowed to find what was on them and transfer info I needed. Great for once or twice a year I will use it.

Laptops are not coming with disk players so if you have software that is located on disk (CD, DVD) you will need an item like this one. It worked well for my application. Just plug it into a USB port and use it.

I used and am using it to copy 10=year old DVDs made from our family's 8mm movies. It actually improved the clarity of the videos.

My PC does not have a built in DVD on purpose...I want my PC to be lightweight. The Dell external DVD drive provides the ability to read/write DVDs! Great stuff. No problems.

I needed a DVD + / - RW drive for my new laptop and the Best Buy rep provided me with this Dell drive and it works well. No negative comments at this time. Works as it should.

Bought this when the drive on my PC went bad. Works great. It isn't as fast as my old drive but I didn't want to put a lot of money into one and this one was a deal for the price.

This DVD/CD drive is well worth the money. It's light weight, responsive, and reliable. It's a great (or must) addition to anyone's notebook computer.

Worked for exactly what I bought it for. Loaded the program cds effeciently.

Worked as advertised. I used it to transfer some programs in DVD to a new computer that had SSD with no hard drive. Easy to use and easy to transfer data.

Operates perfectly. Loads the setups and install programs without any problems. Simple to install. Plug and play makes it easy.

Seems to work good. Needed it for our new gaming computer we built, but that doesn't come with a dvd drive and I have a few programs that need to be downloaded via the DVD, so this works. This one had faster read and write speeds than the others for a great price so I went with it.

This unit works exactly as i wanted it to when i purchased it along with a new PC.

Great exterior plug and play for all those devices without a way to play dvds.

My laptop does not have a CD drive so the Dell external drive was just what I needed to get my old CDs loaded. It worked fast and efficiently.
