Purchased this one as we need to be able to access disks. Seems fine so far. Originally purchased an Open Box item that was rated Excellent, but it would not read the disk. Drive had been manufactured 2 years ago. Not sure why that one did not work.

External DVD Drive

Works great with brasero burning software on linux. The cord length is long enough I can sit it on top of my desktop PC plugged in and it's ok.
