Only issue was finding a free app on my laptop to play the dvds I was trying to play. Besides that I haven’t had any issues and have loved the feeling of watching dvds.

It connected and worked great with no issues and installed the software I needed. I have not used it as a writer at this time. All in all it seems to work well for what it is but even at the lowest cost it was still a bit high for an external drive.
