Nothing fancy or particularly special, but utilitarian. Pretty much plug and play. A little bit slow. Also, not the sturdiest of drives. But on other hand, light weight and easily portable.

This unit is an affordable purchase and works well with my 2 Dell Inspiron laptops and my 1 Alien laptop.

New computers do not offer DVD RW units anymore. Unit is self powered off of the usb drive and works very well.

The saleswoman pointed me in the direction of the external, which I thought were obsolete! Great Saleswomanship!
