Tryed to play a dvd movie through my computer and it's not working.... It's isn't the computer... tried it on 3 separate computers and 3 different players. Same happened to the LG slimline dvd/wr player. I've added hardware many times I even reached out to the wiz kids on the world wide web. they had the same issue. I used to do this all the time. Now there are walls within external dvd player built in to the driver and this driver is no exception. I was told I need to over ride the protections so I can play a dvd movie. We have gone backwards in technology. Easier was plug and play a few years ago... what happened. Del, LG they are all the same... yup tried them also
