New laptops do not include internal DVD/CDROM drives. This is a great add-on for a reasonable price. You can stash it in your case in the off-chance you need to look at data, burn, listen to a CD/movie on your travels.

Great addition to my Dell Alienware lap top. The DVD drive is slim and easy to store, doesn't take up too much space. Highly recommend if you need an external DVD +/RW Drive.

This is a friendly user external DVD/CD-RW drive. It's slim so it's a nice small unit. I used it several times to play an old family CD, but I will be using it for storing photos on a CD as well.

I bought a new Windows 10 PC without a DVD drive. I had "stuff" on CDs that I wanted to migrate to the new PC. I just plugged the DVD drive into the USB port and I was up and running. No mess, no hassle.

Not much to say... it's plug in DVD drive and it operates as expected. Its light weight so i barely notice it in my laptop bag. It works smooth and is a nice extra when buying a 2-1 laptop. I would recommend getting some sort of protective pouch to keep it in

This product seems to be working great. It was so easy to set it up and use it right away. It is very light and easy to unplug or plug in to your laptop when needed.

Worked perfectly with my Dell computer. Although it is lightweight and thin, it is very sturdy. I wish that had continued placing optic drives in the computer, but this is the next best thing.

Inexpensive drive. Works well with Windows 11. No problems using a hub to connect it to my Microsoft PC.

Purchased for the price. It is a slow drive but does it's job. Suggest to get a faster drive to watch or review streaming or video.

Does the job exactly like it should. It is feather weight and probably wouldn't withstand something heavy falling on it, but like I said, it does the job and is very easy to use; plug-and-play.

Needed a disk drive for my Razer Blade 15, but didn't want to cheap out. However, there's a flimsiness to the thin disk tray that makes it feel fragile when changing discs. Gave me zero issues reading and writing DVD-R content. Overall good, lightweight, and practical portable drive.

I just replaced an old laptop and needed this because today's laptops are built without DVD players. I still like to listen to CDs and burn DVDs on occasion. Without this, my DVD ripper software license would be worthless. I removed this item from the box, removed all of the protective coverings, plugged it into my USB hub, and inserted a CD to test it. It was that simple.
