Stopped working after only a few uses. CD kept skipping. I would not give it any stars if that was possible.

My MacBook Pro would not recognize this Dell External Drive. It needed two drivers to work. No thanks. I returned it and purchased an Apple Super Drive which works with my MacBook Pro. Now I have all Apple devices together.

Lots of hoops to jump through to get to work. Does not work well with all protectors. If trying to use for school purposes go elsewhere.

Was told by the sales staff that this could be used to play CDs in my vehicle. They were wrong! Wasted purchase!!

I have not been able to get this to work. Still trying to get it to work

constantly stops in the middle of a CD, have tried multiple CD's and it constantly skips or jut stops.

Very expensive compared to online sites and did not work as suggested

Not happy with this, returned and replaced with LG Slim Portable DVD writer, and was much happier. The cost was less too. which made me happier!

Great Drive and Quiet

I can’t imagine why people are saying this is noisy. I just bought one and found it to be very quiet. It was a couple of dollars more than the LG after comparison shopping, but I bought it because I know Dell makes quality products. It was also heavier than the LG models and I assumed that maybe meant more sound dampening. It was definitely quiet.

The drive worked out of the box. However, after only about 3 weeks, the cover latch broke. I returned it for the LG drive.
