This device has been very useful since most computers nowadays are not coming with an internal drive. My job requires me to use CDS but the work computers no longer have the drive so purchasing one of these for on-the-go job assignments has been the best decision for me. The diced is slim so it can fit it all of my purses and not take up too much room. I recommended putting the USB cord in a ziploc to keep it from getting broken or messed up.

Seems kind of flimsy and i am afraid of breaking, but other than that does what it is supposed to do. Still prefer to have the CD drives built-in laptops.

Reasonable price and easy to use, just plus into Dell laptop, the case is slim fit to the case.

Excellent portable dvd drive for most gaming laptops without a built-in device. Good value for the money and I would definitely buy it again.

If your PC for some reason does not offer an optical drive, I highly recommend this USB Slim DVD Drive from Dell. It reads, it writes, it slices, it dices, okay maybe not the last two. Anyway, be sure to check it out at your local Best Buy and pick one up for your PC related needs.

Bought this because new laptops don’t come with Siri drives anymore works great plug it in any laptop and I’ll just plug and play

This was a great add on to the HP OMEN desktop I bought! It works great and was plug a play.

Easy to use USB CD rom drive. Bought this to use with my laptop since it doesn’t have a CD drive. Small and definitely a good portable size that would fit in a laptop case easily.

Had some trouble with making it work but Geek Squad made it happen.

This is a handy item to have because apparently the laptop manufacturers believe the laptop is connected to the cloud or you own USB versions of Software or Driver Data. Not everything is safe on the cloud for backup as well. A CD is perfect for items that you do not want stored in the cloud.

I bought this external drive since most new laptops don’t carry this embedded within anymore. Does it’s job, not too expensive. Light, not bulky. Would recommend.

When i bought my new computer i wanted to be able to watch movies. Since laptops no longer contain built in cd drives this was the cheapest alternative. It works really well for what i wanted. All i had to do was download some additional software. If you buy this item make sure when using it that you push the disk all the way down or it won't play correctly.

Works great, watch movies and record music , would recommend to anyone.
