The Dell DVD/CD burner worked very well when I needed to burn music to my computer as most laptops do not have a dvd drive anymore. Worked great! I also put in a non-blu ray movie and again worked well. No issues!

I picked this up so I could burn Video to DVD and it works quite well. Compact size, easy to store when not in use. Nice external drive.

SPEED IS GREAT - AND PORTABLE TO TRAVEL WITH ON TRIPS

I was able to connect this device and it worked fine (instantly); I was worried that it was only for DVDs but found out that it also does CDs. If it didn't play CDs, I was getting ready to return it.

My laptop was lacking a cd/dvd drive and this addition works great! On sale makes the purchase a little better!

Now laptops don’t have a built in DVD/CD player, with this my laptop is complete… easy to connect plug-n-play, small, fits in my laptop carrier… works like a charm!!!

The Dell-USB Slim DVD+/-_RW Drive-Plug and Play-DW316-Black works just fine and is very easy to use with my new computer. I sew and can play my DVD's as I am working at my machine. I also will use it for books on tape and music as I am doing other things

Ive only had this for a few days. Purchased mainly to play some VERY old dvds now that my laptop does not have a built in DVD capability. So far, works just fine. Ive used it for CD play, while connecting the ltop via bluetooth to my sony headphones, for those times when i dont want my phone connected. Probably wont rip dvds, so cant speak to that. The Cyberlink sw makes the process easy.

Great size and easy set-up... Works wonderfully, as new computer did not come with an internal DVD/RW drive.

This burner is a snap to connect and easy to navigate when selecting files to burn. The biggest negative is the software that is supplied does not allow you to burn a DVD that you can load in a DVD player. The DVD's that you can burn will only play on the PC. If you want the ability to burn a DVD that can play on a DVD burner you have to upgrade the software for an additional $39.99.

Worth it, especially for the discounted price. Easy to use and doesn’t damage your cd’s.

So far this drive has been working just fine. A bit on a loud side, but no real complaints. As a matter of fact, I did recommend it to a friend and he is happy with his purchase as well.

So far, so good. I bought one of these and haven't used it much in like other say, it is a kind of delicate design So just be careful with it. I got two when they went on sale and use some of my reward points to pick up the second one. I will leave a review in a couple of years again.

This item is very useful. The price was very good and works perfectly well . I am very happy with it.
