    The Dell USB Slim DVD Drive is easy to install and use. The product comes with a USB Cable which you connect one end to the drive and the other end to a USB port on your computer. Once it is connected to your computer it is ready to use. The product also comes with a DVD that has Cyberlink Media Suite which you can install on your computer. This drive is very quiet and burns DVDs nicely.

    Obviously there are better drives out there, but for the price I have found this one to be dependable and fairly fast, and not too loud.

    This purchase decision really came down to...Do I spend virtually nothing on an external CD with unknown brand name, or do I spend next to nothing on a Dell? I chose the Dell, even though as a percentage it was significantly higher than the no-name brand, on a dollars-out-of-my pocket, the difference was about the price of an egg mcmuffin....hardly worth worrying about. It works fine - does what it is supposed to do. As long as that continues to be the case, I will be happy with the purchase.
