Needed this product due to having, now considered, "old school" DVD's. I have a ton and love to watch on my computer, so I needed this product. The product is incredibly easy to use and set up is very easy too. I highly recommend if you enjoy using your DVD's.

Computers don't come with disc drives any more sadly. For those with legacy physical media this is a must. Great grab on deal of the day.

I'd purchased another brand of external drive from a different retailer. About a day later, I thought the price seemed high and checked Best Buy. They had two makes for three-quarters the price of the one I originally bought ... so back it went and I went to Best Buy. This one was not on the shelf, but some rummaging by an assistant in the back room found two of them. This Dell is in a much more robust case than the make I originally purchased, only uses one USB port for power and connection rather than two on the other, and I like the black color much better than the other one's "putty."

Excellent! New computer did not have CD drive...but I had disks with usefull content! This product solves the problem! Good product, reasonable price, simple set up, and delivery was fast!
