This drive works great. Now with all the slim books, you don't get a DVD drive. This worked immediately with window 10. Downloaded the correct drive right away. In 2 minutes I was Installing the program I needed from the DVD drive.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking fro an external DVD player/recorder

It’s a shame modern computers aren’t coming included with a cd drive anymore. That’s why I bought this. Good speed (I use it for putting music cds on my computer to save from purchasing on iTunes). It takes a few minutes for each CD but it does what I need it to do. I’m satisfied.

Looking for a simple dvd / cd drive for my laptop. This came in really handy. Its quiet and easy to use just plug and play its that simple. If your laptop didnt come with a cd drive and u need one for your old school dvds and music cds you cant go wrong with dell.

Bought separate from the laptop. Plugged in and worked perfectly, no issues. Good price as well.

I love it. My new computer doesn’t have a DVD drive. I was able to use my Microsoft Word processing cd. plug it in and it’s ready to go.

Everything was working fine, now my printer won't print. Says its offline. What is the problem?

Did not by this item as my new computer came with a DVD. The return of this item was simple and easy.

i have a tablet / computer but it doesnt have cd drive and this gave me option to have it and still be on the go as i was but still easy to move and install by plugging up usb to device works on anything love this gadget

Very easy to use and ready right out of the box! Just plugged it into my system and it was ready to use.

A MUST with a new pc that did not come with a drive. There is always a time where you need a drive in your pc to pull up old records or just watch a DVD movie at work. I am not sure why new pc's do not come with this feature anymore.

Like that the disk drive is compact and lightweight

Worked perfect from the moment i got it. I had ordered one from Amazon that was cheaper but it lasted a couple of weeks. This one has no issues so far.

I like this. Like all drives of this type, it appears to be a little fragile. But it will stand up if you treat it with respect. Just take your time and don't manhandle it. So far, I've used it on multiple operating systems from Linux to Mac to Windows. It works when the computer's main drive won't. Enough said.
