    I needed an external cd/dvd player for the computer that I bought. So I got this one. It works, the only complaint is that it is a little noisy. I am not familiar with very many external cd/dvd players, but I think it could a lot quieter.

    works well since we have recently replaced laptops and did not pay attention that they no longer come with cd/dvd

    Worked like a charm. Most laptops don’t have cd drive anymore. This worked better than I thought.

    Received item as expected. Didn't have any issues with it. Do wish I'd first tried to see if it would work without installing the included software. But I didn't and everything works well.

    This is a very lightweight drive, but it works perfectly well for my needs (ripping music and audiobooks). It's so lightweight it may feel flimsy to some, but I like that it's not heavy at all.

    I was told this gadget would translate music files to a JP3 file, but it doesn't. But, it is a good portable disk player for computers with out one built in .

    Good product from a good company, Dell. Compact and durable. It worked well and included the dvd software. It had a small footprint so it didn't get in the way.
