I needed to retrieve data from some DVDs, but my laptop does not have a DVD reader. I saw this online. It is definitely plug and play, very simple to use, and reasonably priced. And I am happy that I got my data back.

Plugged it in to my laptop and was up and running in no time. Worked great for what I was doing.

I had to buy this external disk drive because my new computer didn't come with one. It works good though.

It's very lightweight, and slim. But it does everything you need it to do - considering most Laptops now don't have CD drives, it has proved to be really helpful!

Great addition to my new Best Buy computer, just the right size to view work on information from my Cd's.

Honestly dident believe that i would be plug and pla! Usually you have to download a bunch of junk and it takes forever - but it worked great with no extra steps

This simple CD/DVD peripheral drive is a plug & play USB peripheral accessory that functions as intended. The very lightweight case is a bit awkward to handle, but for the intended task of allowing occasional transfers of files to/from my Surface PC and disk media, it is entirely satisfactory.

This drive is great for the price if you need a external cd/dvd drive. I removed my optical drive to install a 2nd hard drive. This external CD/DVD still allows me to rip disks or add software if need be. I can also watch DVD movies With it

Very easy to use (Prior to installing I watched a quick video on youtube). I really did not have to watch the video and I believe I would not have any issues with installation. It's really as simple as "plug and play".

No problems with this unit. Did exactly what I needed it for. I purchased it with the new HP All in One desk top in order to load some of my software which are still on disk. Worked absolutely perfectly.

The Del- USB DVD/RW Drive- Plug and Play is extremely convenient. The price for this item is great and it is easily compatible if you need to carry it around to use with your laptop or other USB-compatible devices. It doesn't get hot like most disk drives after being used for a while. It comes with a USB cord that connects to the disk drive. This is also great and is compatible with all/most desktop computers and devices. I purchased one to play DVDs and play disk games on my desktop Dell-Microsoft 24" Touchscreen All-In-One desktop computer and it works well with that as well as my MacBook Air. I highly recommend this product.

I got a new gaming laptop on black Friday.. the laptop has no disk drive, so I got this gem of a drive.. I THINK it burns cd's, but it loaded my my flight simulator X disks PERFECTLY...**note** THIS IS NOT A COMPUTER... ITS A USB DVD DRIVE!!!

If you have a new system, then you missing the CD -DVD drive. So, the problems solved. whit this product you can use the CD - DVD you have and also you can burn CD_DVD if you needed. its a compact and easy to use.

This little external DVD Player works great with my new Dell laptop. You will need to install the proper software in newer laptops.

I originally had an LG external DVD player but the dell option was so much better for my computer. Runs smoothly and is easy to set up. Great price and amazing service with Best Buy. I recommend getting the 2 year plan with Best Buy in case anything happens.
