Works great with my new Dell Inspiron 7506 2n1 laptop! Lightweight and easy to store until needed!!

This compact and very portable DVD player is very reliable and easy to use and a much needed accessary for my computer, which has no built-in player.

I needed an external disc DVD/CD drive but not ridiculously pricey. For when I get a newer or nused laptop. It works brilliantly. You have to install the software that comes with it in order to use the disc player. But that's all good.

Proved to be all I needed to add a DVD to my new HP All-In-One. Not very sturdily built, but it plugged right in, my HP recognized it immediately, and I placed it square underneath the screen between the supports and it has worked well for months.

I converted my 8 mm home movies to DVD since I no longer have a movie projector. I enjoy viewing my deceased relatives on DVD.

Just plug in and use using a USB port. Very easy to set up. For the low price it is worth it even with today’s technology being so beyond drives anymore.

We bought my son a new Dell laptop that didn't come equipped with a DVD drive. We bought this drive so we could load software & he can watch movies. It works exceptionally well & he is very happy.

Instructions are almost non-existent but it does not matter as it is really plug and play. Not sure I'd install the free cd that comes with it. You have to purchase some of the programs. But the cd reader works great.

Meh. I have to put a weight on top of the usb drive DVD- cd drive. When it gets up to speed it vibrates so badly that a weight is a must , or the cd drive will slow down then stop because of how badly the vibration occurs. For the price, again, meh. It’s okay. If your short on cash and your laptop doesn’t have internal drive, which it should, then this contraption is satisfactory.

I used this to load-up over 500 photos-both Raw and Jpeg- with no issues. It worked like champ. When running a video tutorial disc it did make some serious speed noise, cycling on and off. It suits my needs. I use it with an ASUS 2-in-1.

Works perfectly when you don’t have a cd drive on your laptop/computer

When my laptop onboard DVD/CD player stopped operating, my first action was to see what was available at Best Buy. I ordered online and picked up the new DVD/CD player less than one hour later. It was operational less than one minute after plugging it into USB port.

Nowadays alot of laptops dont come with CDs or DVDs players/burners anymore. This was a great way to continue to rip my CDs and/or burn them if needed. It plugs in with a simple USB and is super easy to use! Love it!

Easy to use, portable. Plays the discs easily. I don't really have fifty words for a portable disc drive. This requirement should be reviewed if you really want feedback. Only twenty nine words. Oh well, what more can I say. The price was reasonable. It was recommended by the Geek squad tech

My last DVD Drive was built into the desktop which is preferable, but you can't have everything. The Drive works quite well and is easy to push into a corner when not needed.

Most laptops do not come with a DVD/ Cd drive anymore. This works great when you need to go old school and use a dics.
