This is a handy cd drive and invaluable for use with computers without cd drives and for those of us with a great many cds with photos and/or other materials stored on them. It works great with my Dell laptop.

Truly plug and play. easy set up and intuitive to use. Since most computers do not come with CD/DVD player, this is a must for recording and burning CD's or watching a movie.

Very good. Just plug it into a USB port - chose the DVD player software of your choice and it works. It makes it easy to deal with newer laptops that do not tend to have a built in optical player.

This is a solid choice for an external drive. In the field of music I needed the ability to play and rip CDs. This unit does very well. Simple plug and play. No downsides that I can see after using for several months.

Great product!! This a great change for the world of laptop of not having an integrated CD drive. This product allows you travel with or without but most of all very easy to attached when needed

Plug and play with no software needed to install. Write speed is standard and doesn’t take too long to write a CD-RW. The casing seems cheap and not very durable but it is lightweight which makes up for it. Comes with USB cord that plugs right into your computer and does not require AC or DC cord in order to supply power.

I was going to purchase a similar item but I read that the software expires. This has cyberlink and power2go and it doesn't appear to expire. Plus I got a great black Friday price for this to go with my new laptop.

This DVD player works out of the box and does a great job.
