Good CD Drive

I even booted the Imac with it. As noted, it has a plastic housing and is light weight. I treat it with care and keep it protected on a level surface. A nice unit for the price.

Dell does not honor warranty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This broke within a year (bought in Oct. 2024, broke in Aug. 2025). It has a one-year parts and labor warranty, but that is useless - Dell just gave me the runaround and kept telling me to call the same number, and when I do that they just tell me to call that number again. I'm done - Dell service completely sucks and they have no desire to honor their warranty. I gave this two stars because I was at least able to use it for 10 months.
