I always create a system image on a disc in case of any system problems. Since the laptop did not include an optical drive, I purchased the Dell stand alone drive. It has done everything I needed it to do and the cost was very reasonable.

Worked right out of the box. It came with addition software that isn't the free trial ware versions. I am looking forward to loading and trying it out. Overall a great value.
