    I purchased this DVD/RW Drive because the HP laptop I purchased didn't come with one. I was given a couple of CD's as Christmas gifts and had no way to download them to my iTunes app. This drive was able to load my CD's in good time, without any issues. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent priced drive to load old CD's or DVD's onto their computers.

    This device unfortunately took too many other cable connections/adaptors to just run off of my laptop, even with a powered USB hub it was inconsistent in its function. Movies would intermittently stop and start.
