There’s a tiny catch inside to hold the ejector in; it broke once but can easily be fixed with glue. There really isn’t much to ask for from a disk drive, unless you plan on throwing it around like a football.

Perfect external optical drive

While I have always had a built in optical reader the new one doesn’t have one. So I bought this. It’s really too early to report on any possible downside, this was a great deal at Best Buy and I expect no problems

DELL DVD/USB Plug & Play

Provides just what I needed

This laptop is replacing one that was at least 6 years old that had seen better days. I am very pleased with the one we purchased. It is sufficient for everything that I need one for.
