I dont thing anybody should put the software on their computer, but the hardware itself is great.

Good quality, does the job, was able to install my software on my new computer and glad I made the purchase.

Cord is thick so a little awkward, but maybe thickness is needed or sturdier? Bought because on sale and didn't notice it is usb2. Want it to dupe family dvds and I suspect usb2 will be slow..but that's on me, not a product defect
