Great to have a dvd drive for laptop when you need it. Very easy to use and works just as you would expect.

This drive works fine but I wish it was built right into my new "All-in-One" computer like they did before. Should not call them "All-in-One" when these drives are left out.

Made the mistake of thinking a refurbished computer I bought had a cd/dvd drive. This handled the problem. Plug and play. Works great.

This does the job! My new laptop doesn't have an optical drive, and this is perfect for those times when I need to install something on disc.

Got this for my daughter’s new laptop because laptops no longer have a cd drive.

No setup is required. It is true plug and play. I would recommend to anyone now that CD are no longer included on most laptops.

Drive gets the job done! I bought it to burn images on Cds. It’s a tad slower than th internal drive my old computer used to have, but it works very nice! Not loud at all. I highly recommend this Cd drive!

This player did just what we wanted-to play DVD's through our laptop. So far no problems.

Although I haven’t tried to burn any DVDs, this unit is an economical way to deal with playing DVDs in laptops with no internal drive.

My last laptop didn't have a CD unit incorporated. This item is all you need. Works perfectly fine and so far I can't complaint about it.

Device is not recognized by my HP laptop. Dell support for drivers and live support is non-existent and was told I needed to go to a dell store to get the support I need. the person I spoke to was not coherent and never shut up to listen to the issue I had with the dvd device. Basically I'm stuck with a device that I paid for and cannot use. `Once again Dell fails with customer support.

Bought this along with my new Dell laptop just in case i needed it in the future for school... I have some cds in the car that I may as well transfer over to my computer now! Installation was quick and easy!
